100% came back to riding moto after 4 years off and got roosted by a 450 yesterday.......hurts just as much as i remember
@@livefreeandshred9818 I got roosted by a guy on a 450 it hurt too. I had a leat chest protector on. Maybe because I have very very sensitive skin and get bruised and cut easily.

Joe Thomas so 10-15 hp isn’t a huge difference ? I had a 2017 kx450f, it pushed mid 50’s, it got stolen 2 months ago, I have a 2020 kx250f now it pushes 39-40 hp, yeah it’s way more fun and I’m a lot faster on it, but that 450 pulled way harder then the 250 does, I’m not just talking just to talk, I’ve actually felt the difference between the two bikes, but it the end it all comes down to the rider, that’s why Jeff was able to go back and fourth against a 450, yeah Jeff’s 250 isn’t stock, but That 450 has some things done to it as well, also he’s a great rider because not many people can push a 450.

Justin Myhre I am aware of that, but it’s not a Geico Honda factory 250 either, its pushing at most 45-49 hp, that YZ is pushing almost 60 off the show room floor, and in the video that bike has an aftermarket exhaust, and who knows what else is done to that bike, and if you saw in the video that bike pulled away like it was nothing on the straight aways, but since Jeff is great in the corners and is just a fast rider overall, he was able to battle and even pass someone with a bike significantly faster than his, in the end it all comes down to the rider and who is willing to push harder. I’m not calling 250’s slow, because I know they’re not, I ride one and I’m way faster on it then I ever was on my 450, but you compare a built 250 and put it up against a 450 with an exhaust, a deleted backfire screen, and Ecu tune, and some suspension work, you’re gonna need a really good rider on that 250 to keep up with that guy on that 450.
I’m not disagreeing that a 450 is faster. Just thought saying double as fast was a little out of proportion lol. Especially if you look at pro nationals lap times for 250 vs 450. Wasn’t necessarily trying to create an argument, just wasn’t sure if you were aware lol

You are a MADMAN on that bike! That was some of the best riding! Put it on my big screen and enjoyed the hell out of it! Had a smile on my face the entire time. You have mastered those corners. Big respect on watching out for the other guys on the jumps - see you backing off the throttle when you weren't sure where the other guys was. Sign of a smart and respectful rider - take it from an old man. 😉

I've recently come across your videos and started watching you more. Your cornering is amazing compared to a lot of riders , and your speed doesn't seem slow. I saw your stats/positioning at the 250 races you attended in 2019, and they were much lower than I expected. I feel if you 100% put your determination into racing, you could easily be a top athlete.

The 2019 crf250 feels like the fastest 250 ridden out of the crate. Rider matters, but proof in the video the bike just moves!! Super fun bike! 30hrs on ours.
Its the slowest 250 out There its really slow compared to the yz250f but its still a great bike for its reliability

It wouldn’t be as close if it was 250 two stroke vs four stroke. you wouldn’t see the two stroke it would be that far ahead.

@@honda8192 Not anymore. 250 four strokes have within a few horsepower of 250 2 strokes lately, 450 4 strokes would crush them with a good rider due to having almost 15 horsepower more

@Jeff Walker Don’t even need to watch any of your videos before you give a thumbs up. They’re all dope!!! I can’t believe you don’t have factory help. If you weren’t riding stock bikes with stock suspension I’d imagine you at least be in the 13 a 20 range in your fininishes. What kind of support you get? Again, dope video and it is much funnier when you’re head head with someone as opposed to out there solo shredding.

Epic riding from you guys, that's how you learn to go quick. Training on your own is better than not training at all. but going out against faster bikes/guys and going bar to bar raises the intensity and you inadvertently push harder. Way to go Jeff. Please don't jump all over me for my next comment, its ment purely as constructive criticism. When you catch up to a guy don't slow to his pace. Keep up the momentum and go by him. Think logically if you can catch him your faster than him. I hope you take this in the spirit its ment, by recognizing our weakness and working on them we become stronger.

This is why I love the 250 class. 250 racers are so diverse, but that all have something to prove. The 450 class is a totally different style of riding, I feel like those guys aren't having to prove themselves as much.
