This was a segment about Nintendo Game Play Counselors that was recorded and broadcast across several Washington News Stations in 1995. This video contains a number of versions of the report created for the various stations.

I worked in TV news in the 2010s, and even then, so much of the content was wiped shorty after use. This is a cool find for its age!

I'm actually a current employee of Nintendo of America (of 17 years) and this footage is fairly near and dear to me. The local news coverage was something I always enjoyed watching. And whenever the rare chance they would cover something I was into, mainly video games and toys, I was always glued to the coverage. I remember these segments well from KING5 news; especially the the part where Dennis Bounds (the anchor) chuckles as Robert Mak tells him he can reach the Call Center at 6am the next morning! Thanks for unearthing, mastering, and sharing these!
