Yes, just content content content. Like, this is the future I want for the internet. Imagine learning this from a book - would take you hours. I almost impulse bought the full course and I'm not even a designer. Congratulations to the creator.
I wish I watched this in my last UX job. This video addresses all of the essentials such as overlaying while swapping, saving with description, and saving swatches. I am taking on a new job, so I am glad I watched this to help me.
After using Figma for two months now, my mind was blown a couple of times by his tips. My favorites are using the pink circles to re-arrange grouped elements and the swap feature in prototyping for states.
Awesome video for advanced users starting working with Figma. What I learnt (highlights): - Space is for holding selection and move it straightforward - Cmd + D is for right duplicating previous copy-pasted item with the same translation offsets - Cmd + / is for menu - Nudge (menu) is for tuning the Shift- delta
Great work. Just a quick tip, you can create text, colour and effect styles so you won't need to use "select similar font" ever again unless you use somebody else's design. You can keep you styles organized by typing the parent category then slash. for instance: Primary Color / Dark Orange, or for text styles would something like following H1 / Bold, H1/ Light, H1/Regular, etc.
This video doesn't have the amount of likes it deserves. Excellent content, great screenplay, beautiful layouts, flawless preparation of every aspect of the file. It helped me enormously, I can't thank you enough.
This is a huge help. There aren't enough resources out there for learning Figma in the same way that Adobe XD has. With everybody claiming Figma is better, makes me wonder why everybody on RUclips uses XD anyway.
Thank you for this video! It’s very helpful! Just a little add - for making cover images for the file (19:24) there is another way - make frame in any page you want and with right click in the menu there is an option “set as thumbnail”.
Really Really Awesome!!! After watching a few beginner tutorials... I stumble upon your video.... not only it helps me it gives me a much better understanding of what can be done and how it can be done. Really grateful! One of the most valuable tips tutorials I have watched in 2020!!
Really excellent video. Many thanks. However, I would like Figma to include even more ways to quickly replace component instance content with randomly generated images/text. The plugins help (unsplash + lorem ipsum generators are wicked), but it would be great to define images and text frames as automatically generating random content when they're duplicated. Having to create a set of instances and then click inside each to select images + text frames can be tedious with large work files. Smarter columns + rows would be lovely as well. Something akin to Webflow whereby content can push other blocks around automatically inside a box model would be very awesome. Have been really enjoying my time so far with Figma and I expect lots more to come!
Used to design websites with dreamweaver over 10 years ago, switched to Photoshop, but still sucked. Got Sketch and loved that, but Figma just makes me melt.
Oh wow, just finished watching it. It's like 1000% improved Sketch + faster speed + Abstract + Sketch Runner + Any other Sketch plugins @_@ GGGOOOODDD Everyone should transfer to Figma
Thank you for this video. I have never used Figma. I always made my mockups in the Sketch app but after seeing what you did with the arc tool at 1:53 I will definitely try it out.
Thank you for the video. I am just learning Figma (UXUI) and I really appreciate your lessons. Can you send the link for the previous tutorial videos for designing this project and doing the wireframes?
Most you tubers would split this into 20 videos but you made it into one with absolute no fluff.
