I have ridden a fuel injected bike and a carburetted bike and I have found a lot of difference between the two....fuel injection ROCKS! The response is excellent and the engine revs very, very, cleanly. This is a strong selling point for the ZMR. BUT since it is way heavier than the previous model, and slower,..... why waste your money on this! Get an older model and spend that saved money on some tuning!!
karizma can beat the p220 on mountain roads........i have a p220 and a zma r .......acquianted with the both bike handling...zma works better on mountain roads.......

being an old karizma rider i would say the new pulsar offers better value for money than karizma zmr its kinda stupid of HH to think the bike would sell tons just on brand value alone.
the thing i dont like the most in karizma..is the thin rear tyre which comparitively looks like a bicycle tyre....p220 is more relaible.....karizma zmr has worked on the looks a lot....but still..i dont think its that impressive......better go for a p220 or r15

but there one FUNNY THING in herohonda if u guys noticed,none of its bike have a tyre above 100*90 size and never gave a open chain case in any of the bikes,this clearly indicates herohonda has no racing intentions on its bikes[always mileage,handling maintenance are major concerns for HH] ,karizma was made a tourer and always be a tourer and will be anything else,well then pulsar's speaks for itself even smallest pulsar [pulsar 135] has a 100*90 rear tyre and a open chain case :D

So, think 1000 times whenever you ZMR & R15 guys say something to the 220 riders we are riding a beast which has no limit. Note-- My Pulsar 220 has given without locking the thortle in 3rd gear i.e. is 110Km/ph if i had repaead more what 3digit no the beast would had given. Think of it.

Hero honda karizma is going to end up like the Bullet. 50 years from now they are still goin to have the same engine same suspension, drivetrain. But new stickers and body panels. The only difference is after 50years the bull will be still cooler than the zma. .... And the p220 is 2 sec quicker to 100 than zma... no surprises there... Hero honda need to seriously employ ppl in the R&D department and give the guys at the sticker department a rest....even the sound of the zma is like a mixie...
hey regarding pulsar 220 anyone knows how much fork oil in each leg and what weight/grade should i use? i have tried 15w and 10w and they are bumpy as hell..should i try 5w and lower? thankz

By the way back in 1999 when every body was going after 100cc bikes it was Herohonda that introduced CBZ and started the change. Pulsar sounded like it was crying right at the start. The reporter was sitting awkwardly even on a Brand New pulsar. Give it six months and its shit. Handling matters alot in racing or even in normal cruising, ask any real racer. Just coz u have SLIGHTLY more power doesn't make it a better bike. Reliability counts. You could never overtake between two trucks on a Pulsar, its just highly unstable.
whats better in it than the pulsar 220...that makes it so much costlier.....i understand the pgmfi part.but then it definitely doesn't help the bike's feel to much an extent.iam sorry but hero honda isn't such great a company to claim such great premium over the competition...the pulsars had always been nice-feeling hassle-free...and built to last bikes...

You probably bought a karizma and feel really crappy about it, and feel that you have to defend yourself & HH now. The Pulsars have always made better built bikes than HH, now that Honda has kicked Hero, they have no choice but to make minor aditions like Fi and re-release a bike. They should go back to making MOPEDS!!

Both ZMR and 220 are gud....but ZMR white color luks ugly to the core...nothing compared to the black one which looks like a beast....

220,s steering is smooth even at low speed, its wheel base is so strong that u can ride without any fear of skid, even on wet roads.
