Thank you very much for the art gallery description. I took from it the need to describe, in detail each stage of the sessions so as to be able to bring out the preferred future question in a relevant way by highlighting the client's history, memories and language used to bring out the Preferred Question. Much appreciated
Fabulous. Adds clarity to my practice. I remember the museum analogy but I haven’t used it. It’s very helpful. A great conversation with lots of helpful reminders to keep us in course.
Thank you both for unpacking this. I learned a lot about the stages of the session using SFBT and I will review it. The important thing is that I will put this into practice. I like the idea of the art museum with the rooms and the gift shop. (Dr. Froerer was hilarious talking about his 3 kids).
What if a client has resources but they are inadequate to create their preferred future. Is there a component of SFBT that allows for skill building or rehearsal?
it seems like all these questions happen in the first meeting... is there anything different about followup meetings... it may seem obvious but I'm slow...

This is really really helpful as I'm about to start practicum! Do you follow the same stages in subsequent sessions?
I am glad you found it helpful. subsequent sessions are a bit different. I have a video on my channel explaining the difference.
