Steph, thank you for your helpful video, you make a number of good points. However you need to be aware of a few things:
    1) the concept of visitor, complainant, customer was repudiated by Steve; he said he wished he had never introduced the concept. At the end of his life he saw everyone who showed up for therapy as a customer.
    2) "brief" in SFBT has nothing to do with time or number of sessions. It means, " not one session more than is clinically necessary."
    3) "solution talk" (or solution building) is not about problem solving. It's descriptive of life without the problem, not strategies for working through the problem.
    4) In SFBT scales, 10 is always the desired outcome, not the problem. 10 would equal "care free and relaxed", 1 would equal worried or distressed.
Thanks again for bringing this discussion to RUclips.
