- Our sweet little baby boy Asher hit a big baby milestone today! This was the first time daddy saw him do this and even caught it on camera while filming for Vlogmas! Love you sweet boy! Gemma also had her dream come true when she woke up and there was a TON OF SNOW!

I loved when Wren brought the book to Cara and started talking. That was just so cute. All of the kids fitting into one laundry basket was amazing. What a fun time. The laundry basket rides are the best. Those two houses all decked out for Christmas I've seen some like that in TX also. We are getting a lot of snow here in Switzerland as well.

I was surprised that Wren said,”Come on Daddy!” AND NOT , “Come on Derek!” Either way They are Super Cute!!! Will not be long before Asher starts walking after all of the kiddos. Then he and Royal will start playing with all the cars and trucks. Making communities and fishing in the ponds together. Then Cara’s going to want another baby. YES!!! 😍❤️😘
My son did the army crawl too just like Asher. Thanks for sharing the Christmas Cheer. The snow was beautiful this morning. I'm up north and in the foothills of Layton. Going out west to Syracuse was just beautiful looking at all the mountain ranges! Now the Christmas feeling is in the air!

First of all, thank you Darik for putting so much time into editing each vlog for us! I know how time consuming it can be so it truly means a lot that you are so dedicated to edit each evening during Vlogmas! Oh and your editing skills have improved immensely over the years, it hasn’t gone unnoticed! 🥰 Asher boy is getting so strong! I literally teared up watching him crawl so fast after the cord Wren got for him and then the way he pulled himself up on the couch is a huge milestone! (and just one step closer to being more mobile, watch out Darik and Cara haha! 😅) I’m stoked that Gemma finally got her snow! She’s been excitedly waiting every day and it’s finally here! The kids’ faces were priceless! 😍 And I believe not only is this Asher’s first Christmas, but also his first snow! I cannot wait to see all the kids play more in the snow!

PS - Darik, get a snow broom to help clear the snow off the Sprinter! We use them in the car business to clear snow off vehicles and they help tremendously! I even got one for my own house to clear snow off my own vehicles! 😉

Hope you don't mind me asking a question about cameras. I have two RUclips channels and currently use my phone to film videos. I was saving up for a proper vlogging camera but had to have a skin cancer removed so had to use the money for the surgery. I then started saving again but then my husband broke his wrist so the money had to be used for that. I had to give up my part time job to care for my hubby ( he shattered the bones in his wrist). I am saving up again and aiming for about $200 Australian dollars. Any suggestions for a decent camera? I have no idea where to start. Wishing your gorgeous family a very merry Christmas. I’ve lived in Florida my whole life and I sure do love the sun and hot weather, but I soooo want a white Christmas. I haven’t seen snow in forever, so long that I don’t even remember it, so one of these holidays I wanna go to a beautiful state with snow ❄️⛄️🏔🌲. But, to live there, I’m not so sure I’d survive haha I need my blazing sun, beaches and warmth 😂. Asher stole the vlog following Reese’s string like he was on an army maneuver and then stands up for mammy, cuteness overload with Royal reaching up to pull him down to play . I hate it that it starts getting dark by 4:30. And there is no real good reason for not staying in Daylight Savings Time the whole year. So many have Seasonal Affective Disorder (or SAD), but it is exposing everyone to less vitamin D light, and we all agree we don't like it. Yet they continue it anyway. Convoluted logic.
I live n Paris Arkansas and we have been wearing shorts the last 2 days. But we have fixing to get down below freezing soon. 🥶 it's crazy. Shorts in the day then freeze at night. Lol that's Arkansas weather.
