Ben Whishaw has recently came on my radar and I'm surprised it took me so long to find out he was the lead in that Purfume movie. Cloud Atlas; Lilting; London Spy; Surge; This is Going to Hurt; Passages.
I first saw Ben as "Sebastian Flyte" in the 2008 production of "Brideshead Revisited". He was superb in that role, and I have lusted for him ever since!
It's getting weird how this channel uploads videos about all my secret infatuations. I fell hopelessly in love with Whishaw after watching the Brideshead Revisited remake. He brings such vulnerability, whimsy and enigmatic charm.
He is an absolute adorably cute wisp of a guy with such incredible acting skills. I hope that he goes very far in the industry, Yes, being a celeb means giving up privacy. It shouldn't be that way.
But the point he asked wasn't why celebrities must give up privacy. His point was: "Why are actors celebrities?" As opposed to scientists, poets, artists, authors, philanthropists -- people who are genuinely working to improve our world -- not play a "villain" in a movie or on TV. I agree. Why indeed? Actors should not be celebrities, any more than teachers or weather forecasters are.
Loved how in No Time To Die, when it's revealed (perhaps confirmed) that his character Q is gay, it's one of the most nonchalant interactions between him, James, and Moneypenny. Knowing Ben's real life views on sexuality, it's no surprise why the scene was written that way... learning someone is gay should be as pedestrian and normal as picking up a box of cereal at the supermarket.

I really like Ben, seems to be a genuine type of person.

I loved him in Perfume too
SUCH a doll! I hope we see a lot more of him. Does he upstage everyone in every scene, or it just my eyes that get stuck on him? 😜
He looks damn good for fortysomething!!!!!

Love Ben to madness. What could I do...
Another English actor with a similar appeal is Matthew Beard, but I am not sure whether he is gay. I hope so!
He's too cute to be straight! :D

I did. About 6 times. 😱😁👍❤
Why are you putting annoying background music in your videos? Why the does the world think we need this in the first place? It is distracting.
You're the first person who has a problem with it. 90% of youtube videos have background music, so I'm not the odd one out.
