still wild to me that disney won’t rerelease or really even talk about song of the south but they still built a whole ride based around the animated portions and it’s still an e-ticket attraction
Most folks probably don’t know because they changed the part that folks deem most offensive to Brier Rabbit getting caught with honey.
@@tigremalabarista3461 Brier Rabbit has his own comic in the Dutch Donald Duck comic book. Most Dutch people know him and the other animated Song of the South characters from the comics and have no idea where they actually come from. It’s pretty crazy

I once had an imagineer give a presentation about the architecture from Liberty Square to Big Thunder Railroad. You were right on that the architecture changes to match the United States. There is even a small stream next to the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon that represents the Mississippi River.

One of my absolute favorite secrets from Splash Mountain is FSU Gopher! :)
My favorite hidden gem in Frontierland is in Splash Mountain. Towards the end of the Laughing Place bit of the ride that leads to the main drop, there is a hole in the ceiling. From that hole pops out a little gofer in an orange shirt! What makes it even better is that it yells FSU as you pass by! One of the imagineers that worked on Splash Mountain had graduated from Florida State University and placed this little nod in the ride. Sadly, it can only be heard from the front row.
It's more common to pronounce it Pay kos bill instead of Peck O's

Peck-os seems more accurate to the original Spanish pronunciation.
Maybe Tink’s in Frontierland as a tribute to the original Disneyland show. Tink used to help with introducing the different Lands/Segments - she’s fly around Fantasyland with sparkles exploding behind her, pantomime being a frontiersperson & a Native American for Frontierland, conjure an atom in Tomorrowland, and explore Adventureland.

Phillip Bennett Maybe. But it’s barely a resemblance and that’s aside from the fact that it makes no sense for her to appear there. It kinda goes against how they always purposely place these things in specific spots other than all the Mickeys that are everywhere but that’s because that in itself is a thing.
to me it looked more like an adventurer with a tailed animal on their arm.

Every time he said peck-os I had a seizure. My wife was very disappointed I survived the 14,734 seizures.

The climax of the Old Mill cartoon during a storm and the mama bird was always one of my favorites

i've always loved brer rabbit's tiny house in the gift shop. the little brer rabbit plushie in the chair was added recently i think but it makes it even cuter.

Still think my all time favorite hidden details in Frontierland (besides the guy in the bathtub of course) are the Mickey and Pooh gears at the end of Thunder Mountain. Hidden Mickeys are cool, but too also see a Hidden Pooh is really nice.
Thunder mountain is my favorite. Now I will be looking for hidden Mickey and Pooh Bear.
Tripin with Red it’s been a while since I was last in the parks, but if I remember correctly, you can only see them from one of the re-entrys of one of the two tracks. You might have to ride a few times in order to spot them. They’re to the right side of the cart on the ground, and are directly next to each other. You are able to tell who’s who based on the size of the gear ears

Found my hidden Mickey Book, so I’ll put in what they say directly, It’s pretty credible, as I picked it up in the parks (also pretty outdated, since it was last updated with New Fantasyland):
“At the end of the ride, just past the dinosaur bones on the right side of the track, you’ll see sets of gear wheels lying on the ground. The first set of gears resembles a classic Hidden Mickey and the second set looks more like Winnie the Pooh. (You can also spot these gears from the Fastpass queue)” (Hidden Mickeys, A Field Guide to Walt Disney World’s Best Kept Secrets [6th Edition], Steven M. Barrett)

The reason I missed all these hidden secrets is because I've never been to Disney World Florida I've only been to Disneyland California but it's interesting to know all the secrets because if I ever go there I will be able to notice them and I love your channel so I can't miss a video

This year is going to be my family and I’s 11th year going to Magic kingdom. And out of those 10 years, we always go to frontier land through Liberty Square.
