I started on Ravenport, New Farmer mode; it was a real 'try out everything' save as I was new to FS back then. Tried all kinds of things on my farm, while watching tutorials on RUclips, and contracts on neighbouring farms until I got the gist of the basics. After about 2 months or so, I started another farm on Felsbrunn on Farm Manager mode and liked it a lot more; deleted Ravenport and moved forward from there. Felsbrunn was a real nice intro to German maps for me having visited central farm country there a couple times over the years, even though I grew up in dairy-country Canada. But having different maps from different countries has been really fun; thanks modders.
Hey FK, great idea, thanks for the nostalgia. This was my first playthrough on FS19. I always play "Start from scratch" on every map (always with Seasons since it was released), with the same options you use, obviously I didn't have the DLCs back then, but was such fun, thanks for the reminder =)
Nice idea to go back to beginnings. My first save on 19 was Ravenport, new farmer so I could have house and small farm, sold all gear and changed it up to my taste, no loans but same settings you have here
I was playing the Minnesota millennial map but now I’m playing the Oklahoma map 24 day seasons so that means I have enough time to do things on my farm set myself up Nice John Deere equipment a excellent John Deere tractor and harvester in mower.
I re played Felsbrunn many times. On one play through I bought field 8 and used the land over the tracks for my equipment. On another I bought field 15 and used the land around that. On another I started with a ute and a chainsaw and staged myself out of the grass sport field down near the town.
This is is funny considering something has gone seriously wrong with my fs19. I have lost all my saved games and all the mods i had downloaded and installed. Needless to say i''m done playing fs19🤷♂️
Funny, about a week ago i started a new play on Felsbrunn as a farmmanager only with DLCs on and some Giant Mods from Modhub. It is a very different experience, and i did it for the same reason as you did, LS22 will have no mods at the beginning, and i want to look, if i can do it.
I will take up this challenge on my road laptop, during the week. A question for you, if workers are allowed, why not have the helper run the potato harvester and you run the carting tractor. That is the only way I will do potato work, on my own fields or contract.
Sure hired helpers are allowed. Its not ment to be a one man show challenge. Just no mods and as such use the base game and DLC for all the base game and DLC features.
Everyone will need to make up their own mind on if its worth it. There is alot we do not know about what will be included in phase 1-3 and aside from knowing that there will be a map in phase 4 along with a 'plethora' of other things. We do not know what the cost will be for each phase by itself but based on past pricing we could assume phase 1-3 would be around $10 and phase 4 would be around 20 so that would make the bundle deal a 10 savings over buying individually. If your someone who picks and chooses what additional content they buy then you may also end up saving more by going individual as you may choose to not pickup some aspects of the pass individually. If your the kind of player that will probably buy any content released anyway then it does seem the pass might be more cost effective.
@@FarmerKlein Thanks for the information. I am going to start the no mods Felsbrunn. Sometimes we get carried away with all the mods and forget about the game.
I'm on your wavelenght with this series but unfortunately not the way you did the first harvesting contract. Your running up hours and burning diesel from your Claas tractor when you have borrowed one, even if its a john deere, and that comes out of your pocket, extra unnecessary expense at the end of the day.

Nice idea. Favourite moment, so far... 19:19 "Oh, John Deere" classic! Will be giving the challenge a go.
:)
I did the same sort of thing went back to one of my first maps...awesome job bud
Ravenport
Yes I see and like your thinking 🤔
About using using bare starting fs19 tools no mods too complete fs19 to starting
I do like my mods but if you just get Course play To do all the fields and farm helper to do the cows and sheep you become a farm manager not a farmer
Nice idea to go back to beginnings. My first save on 19 was Ravenport, new farmer so I could have house and small farm, sold all gear and changed it up to my taste, no loans but same settings you have here
Great idea FK. I started on Ravenport and I'm going to give the challenge a try. No mods will be strange.
This will be *very* interesting to compare with a similar series on FS22. Great timing.
LOL on the JD comments. Totally agree
Great idea! I’m willing to give this challenge a go
I was playing the Minnesota millennial map but now I’m playing the Oklahoma map 24 day seasons so that means I have enough time to do things on my farm set myself up Nice John Deere equipment a excellent John Deere tractor and harvester in mower.
I accept this challenge as I am terrified that I will fail. But for the fun of the game will accept all terms on this challenge.
Challenge accepted!
I definitely gonna try this to prepare for fs22 with one exception I will do it with seasons (base Geo) as fs22 will have season cycles.
I feel you on the John Deere's
I have looking for something to do until 22 this is a great idea
Get back to basics
Seeings I only started playing fs19 3 weeks ago I accept the challenge and I will start on Felsbrum.
Just found your challenge. Like it very much. I am in 😉
Welcome aboard!
Felsbrun new farmer
looks like imma bit late to the party.... great video bud
I remember the Mahindra Retriever coming out, I was so excited to get it. I don’t really know why. 😂😂😂
Love it! Return to where it all began.

One of my Favourites.
Hey Farmer Klein, I think this is a great idea. So I'm going to do this too. As good as I can
Go for it!
I'll give it a shot. I'll use the camera mod though.
This is is funny considering something has gone seriously wrong with my fs19.
I have lost all my saved games and all the mods i had downloaded and installed. Needless to say i''m done playing fs19🤷♂️
Challenge accepted
Will start on raventrashport, but I will install all Giant mods they released. I think it's fair if you use all dlcs.

I use the adjusted working speed mod. I have recently been trying to play with out it to prep for fs22. 😩 6 mph or less is so painful.
you want painful.. try planting poplars.
Hay FK you should do a map review on mountain hill 2021 map. Its a real beautiful 4x map with rolling hills and production.
If it uses global company I will not.
Don't look like it use global company look like one has to work for it
Cool, where was the map released?
@@FarmerKlein You don't like Global Company? Or?
Is the seasons pass for FS22 worth buying?

@@FarmerKlein Thanks for the information. I am going to start the no mods Felsbrunn. Sometimes we get carried away with all the mods and forget about the game.
I'm trying to understand... this is listed as no mods but you use a mod precision farming scout that you leased at 9:47 in video.
Its a series using base game equipment and offical DLC's released during 2019. Precision farming is one of those DLCs.
I hope you continue this series, and please, _please_, don't turn it into a live stream.
Try not to. :)
Says "no mods" and "base game"
Proceeds in activating all DLC mods
DLC are not mods they are DLC from Giants thus where allowed on that playthru as was anything else listed in the DLC page for FS19.
You should lease
Maybe we did on select things that where not going to rack up tons of hours.
