- On January 10th, RUclipsr and journalist Meghnad S made a surprising announcement-he's entering the political arena. Taking to his platform, he declared his candidacy for the Delhi elections from the Malviya Nagar constituency.
A bold political experiment, Project Anda challenges the notion that politics is only for the wealthy or the well-connected. It’s a movement proving that anyone-without money or a political dynasty-can step up and run as an independent candidate.

The whole point of his campaign is to encourage more individual candidates, a Neta can be more than congress and BJP, local people can join local elections to address the problem he faces from day to day life instead on sitting and waiting for the big parties to take action someday...

Yes a newbie neta can present his ideas in internal party discussion but it must be approved by the party high command otherwise it is an irrelevant plea. Rising through the party ranks takes years and requires much internal politics.
And if you think he doesn't have " realistic chance" without a party, why don't you vote for him as an independent candidate to make it realistic?
