On my “10 rarest technic gears” video, two users have claimed that they possess the pink gear. However, there is nothing more than words supporting the existence of the pink 40t gear
Wouldn’t there be a copy of the pink gear clock in the lego vault? (If it exists) It would give a final answer to this mystery.
That Bricklink image looks like a really bad render. So the pink gears were probably misconstrued from a poor-quality photo of a poor-quality render of a very rare set.
A appreciate the weapons\drug dealer sunglasses vice city style when talking about the technic x-files and second hand deals :)
That 8865 Red test car behind you is great! I have the same on my shelf.
Nice
Congrats! That must have been a 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 unboxing experience!
Yes it was!
They should make more colored Lego gears it gives so much color to simple builds
Agreed
Thanks for replying and I love your channel
What's so interesting about this "clock" line is that there actually *are* 40 tooth gear colors exclusive to clock sets. The 40 tooth gear can be found in blue and old dark gray *exclusively* in clock sets. Unlike the kitty clock, there is video proof of these on RUclips.
LEGO still has historical inventory on this set, and the data clearly shows only 2 white 40T gears. LEGO also has element inventory going back to about 1994, and for the 40T gear it only lists White, Grey, Bright Red, Black, Dark Green and Med. St-grey for part 3649 (these are all LEGO colour names, so you'll want to look up them for your respective fan site). So I'd be firmly in the camp of "only one inventory of this set, and only white gears"
Correction to myself for pedantry reasons, LEGO has a *publicly accessible* element inventory going back to about 1994. They very clearly have a full inventory but some elements are not in the public dataset because they might've never been digitised, or were removed for reasons. But 2000 is new enough to say it should be in the data if it exists.
Both the LEGO instructions website and “bricks and pieces” website lack the 4393 in their database. Can you please send me a link to LEGO’s parts inventory for this set?
@@Unbrickme I'd love to, but the way I can query this information is no longer exposed to an easy to access website. However, I can confirm that LEGO only lists two elements for the set: 2x 656202 - CONNECTOR PEG/CROSS AXLE in Grey (this would be old grey, as it's pre 2003), and 2x 4120107 - GEAR WHEEL 40T in White. The cats are missing from this inventory because some of them got removed from the internal link (eg, black/white cats are still in the system under 4189031 for black, and 625101 for white), but these have clearly not been internally relinked to set 4393 (when elements are removed from this system, the links are also removed; white 40T and grey peg/axel connectors haven't been removed from this system). You are correct that the instructions DB lacks this set; the entry in the system has no BIS data, so no instructions. (I have joined your discord and thrown an image at you of the information from this post too)
You are so lucky to get that rare set…I wish I had some rare and expensive LEGO sets in my collection.
Thanks!
@@Unbrickmei own a v2 reciver that i got from a lego factory malfunction; i got it when i bought a lego train set back in the time where the v2 reciver was in production and the machine malfunctionned and gave me a v2 reciver instead of v1, luckiest moment E V E R .
The pink tooth gear is a mystery, however I wonder why Brickowl didn't confirm and verify the info.
Maybe it still exists?
Probably but, why does Brickowl confirm that its part of the kitty clock set? It it from another set or it doesn't exist?
The pink gears must've been discoloured
honestly that's probably the case
We had a lot of pink lego in school. I think we had some pink gears, but it was probably another model.
Woah, what was that talking minifigure at the end of the video? Don't think I've ever seen a LEGO piece like that before!
It’s a new piece releasing August 1st
if it really exist, there should be a photo of it on the internet
Nothing a bucket of paint can't do
agreed
Beyond the brick made a video about lego vault with every lego set i would like to know if they have it with the white or pink teeth wheel
Wow! I really like Secret Agent Unbrickme! A very good mystery video. Keep on the good work!
Thanks
I have the clock but its from Bionicle tahu
With those glasses you look like young John Seed from Far Cry 5...
Awesome! Thanks
You found it. But then again… you didn’t…
finally discovered the truth about it
I was always fascinated by this set. Amazing to finally see it. Intresting to see that there is no pink gear. How much did you pay for it?
Around $100
I have a theory about LEGO Technic Monster Jam
They used Orange tires (just one set , every year)
2021 : Max-D
2022 : El Toro Loco
2023 : Dragon
THEY ALL HAVE ORANGE TIRES
You are talking about the wheel discs right? They all use black tires
@@Unbrickme no i meant the colors in the discs idk what they're called
@@Unbrickme i think i meant the rims
The old picture shows a white cat too, when the set comes with a black one?
Interesting
Why is this set so rare? I mean what is the point selling a LEGO set, that many people won't buy because it is so rare.
Also my theory why the photo of the set show a pink 40 tooth gear is because it is probably a photoshop error.
Yeah that’s the most likely explanation. I guess it’s rare because not many units were produced. It was probably exclusive to a specific Legoland or something
Dam that’s so annoying
Pink gear fail!
How much did you pay for this set? I guess more than $1,000. I hope to own some of the early 2000s sets one day.
Actually around $100
Congrats! Sadly no pink gear...
How much did you pay for it?
Around $100
@@Unbrickme okay, i thought it would be more since it’s almost never for sale. Were you disappointed to find our the gears are white or did you know it beforehand?
@@brix_max I was disappointed
fourth comment, great video! I hope you can find the pink gear if it's real.
I hope so too!
I will be honest, I wonder 🤔 how much you bought it for due to the fact that it's absurdly rare
$150-$200
First!
Congratulations!
Congratulations
