The Seibu Department Store in Ikebukuro, which I introduced in the video, is currently undergoing partial renovations. Consequently, Karukaya, the udon restaurant I mentioned in the video, has closed down. I really wanted everyone to try that delicious udon, but unfortunately, it’s no longer available.

It's really unfortunate about that udon restaurant, but there are plenty of other great places to eat in Ikebukuro that you can try. If you like udon, I recommend "Musashino Enza," located in Shakujii Park, which is about a 10-minute train ride from Ikebukuro. If you want to search for something specific, try searching in Japanese with the name of the cuisine you want + "おすすめ" + "池袋" and then translate the search results!😉

Ok, I was impressed by the former girls school designed by Frank Lloyd Wright! Stunning! And it's sad to say, many of his buildings here in the states are falling into disrepair. Unfortunately, it's not part of the Ikebus route. However, Ikebus operates tours on Saturdays and Sundays! You can visit Kishimojin Shrine and other famous places in Ikebukuro with the Ikebus. This tour is the east course and takes place in the morning (午前東コース) also, the price is 1,000 yen. (In October, tours are available on Saturdays and Sundays except for the 21st and 22nd.) Please search for "イケバスアルカトルツアー" Kishimojin is also featured in my video "Free Things to Do in Tokyo Part 2". So please check it out if you like.😉😉Have a wonderful trip!

Wooow😊😊Chi-san!! , you're coming to Japan next month? That's fantastic! I recommend visiting the Kishimojin Shrine. It's about a 10-minute walk from the Ikebukuro station. Unfortunately, it's not part of the Ikebus route.
However, Ikebus operates tours on Saturdays and Sundays! You can visit Kishimojin Shrine and other famous places in Ikebukuro with the Ikebus. This tour is the east course and takes place in the morning (午前東コース) also, the price is 1,000 yen.
(In October, tours are available on Saturdays and Sundays except for the 21st and 22nd.)
