Thank you Kaki, I started my 2 week liquid on Thanksgiving. Surgery date is 12/8. I appreciate you making this available so I can understand from a first hand account.
I am just starting to watch your videos. I'm 6 weeks out from my surgery today. The part about your mom really hit home for me. My mom died in 2021 and I've always had her by my side when I have major medical things. My gastric bypass was my 2nd major surgery since she has passed and I was so scared to not have her there. But my husband is wonderful as is my kids so I'm grateful for them being there for me.
Congrats on your upcoming surgery! Hope everything goes smoothly for you. I miss my mom everyday, but I did even more so around my surgery time. Good luck, and I am sure so is still with you 💗
@@kakisrnyjourney5376 I guess I should have said I had my surgery 6 weeks ago. Just starting to dabble in more solid foods. Still kind of scared of how it might make me feel.. Also I had a revision surgery. I had a lap band from 2005 that needed to be replaced. I chose the RNY as the surgery I would get due to GERD I had from the lap band.
Hello Kaki ❤ first I wanted to day thank you so much on posting all these videos. I’m watching them all the time. I’ll be having gastric surgery in a couple of weeks too.
