First bass cover from 2012, it HAD to be a 'Chili Peppers one!
So here it is, Factory of Faith from their latest album "I'm With You", with some krazy tabs and funky intro!... or the other way around.
Anyway, I didn't tab everything, as usual you can learn the rest from my bass only tracks (you can find them at the bottom of this description box!)

Massively judgemental of someone who has no proof that he can even pluck a note on a bass, how about you upload a video and let us critique you? Fact is, he is a great player, the fact that he has many basses is altogether a separate matter, one that by all rights you shouldn't concern yourself with.

Aside from Raindance maggie which I learned the day it was leaked to the public, this was the first song from the new album I learned, followed by Look Around then Ethiopia :D

hey david nice cover but look at lallare 90 cover he is much more into it and i´ve seen flea playing this live in cologne germany and he played the basic groove when the A comes on the second fret of the G string , i´m serious because i had a backstage ticket a saw him in very short distance so athough good job because of the attitude man
@myke336 Yeah, close enough. That bass he's playing uses the same pickup configuration except he has a second humbucker so it might not sound EXACTLY the same but you can get close. He has a good amount of treble to his tone.
Can I ask you how do you get that sound? Do you use a pre-amp before pluging the bass to the PC or you directly plug the bass into the sound card of the PC? What sound card do you use?

@CYBORG36767 i cant explain the excersizes i do, but some easy songs- Reptilia, Rock You Like A Hurricane, I Could Have Lied, The Adventures Of Raindance Maggie, A Horse With No Name, Anna Molly, Californication, all some decently easy songs you could learn.

Well you either live with your parents and don't pay for things like rent, gass, water and electricity and all that, Or you have a butload of money to pay for all those things and your expensive basses
You are not sticking entirely to the official bass music but we'll done. I can see you have adapted The piece to your style of playing and have added your own bits into the song.

Thats what I figured, A lot of basses doesn't make you a great player and I think davidsinrocks is way too overrated. Being a bassplayer myself I dont see something super special in him

Do you have any control over those dual humbuckers? As in, do you have the bridge pup coming through more than the neck pup?
I dunno how old he is, But I've seen some of the basses he uses and those are freakin expensive. So he either lives with his parents or he's a fuckin millionair xD

Why the hell do you keep sliding between all the riffs? It doesn't do that in the song? It does it twice at the start and right before the end.
who cares, this guys unreal. not many people can take a song and make it better....I'm sure Fleas even said "Holy shit this guys amazing"
Not sure why thehy didn't use an aluminum neck, thats where its the most important to have the aluminum construction. Sounds good though.
