this one is odd because Neal is projected as a starter next season unlike the other players who entered the portal
Ethan Frey and Jared Jones can both play catcher. But if Bear comes back, he'll likely stay at 1B. Also Frey just doesn't feel like a starting catcher to me at all.
Jones is as good as gone
Starting to seem like Jay is going to rely on portal for teams each year and is going to ditch a lot of players that stayed to get developed

Priester has also struggled pretty heavy in the collegiate summer leagues with the bat.
Yes he has, but can catch and throw at elite level. He will hit 240-260 with 15 homeruns . Team USA guy. Summer for elite talent is to work on certain parts of his game. Like to see better numbers, but it doesn't matter.
Priester split time as freshman. Caught 1st game the DH the second. This year Caught every pitch. All juco games are double headers
