- My magnum opus (at the time, now it's more of a secundo opus maxime whatever). After 7 months in development (due chiefly to my laziness), hopefully it will have been worth the wait. I originally showcased a small preview under the title "Engineer is Pissed Again" but I didn't like that title very much, so I decided to change it. Besides, adding a pointless "The" to titles is in this season.
I realize the story is more or less the same as Spy's Partially Exquisite Day, but if you're into Gmod movies for the story, you may want to get a reality check. Or check out seibmoz's channel. He's awesome.

Answers to questions I get too often

Q: How did you do the Gunslinger vending machine thing on the wall at 2:50?
A: Couple layers of green screening. There's the wall for the background, and the layers are as follows -- a Combine recharge station for the machine; then the Gunslinger (cropped from an image of the engineer with his arm outstretched); then the engineer's left hand. Animated in Adobe with some keyframes and there you go.
Q: How did the engineer fire 6 shots when the FJ only has a 3-round clip?
A: He didn't. It was one shot, the rest were an echo.
Q: Where is the "I would ask who you are..." quote from?
A: The English dub of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, episode 28 ("Father"). It's an anime set in the early 1900s where Alchemy is like a sort of "scientific magic." Hard to explain really, but it makes for some really spectacular action sequences. Throw in an awesome cast of characters, a kickass storyline, and a lot of blood and you've got one of the best shows ever.
Q: Where is the "Remember me" line from?
A: Metroid: Other M. Said by Anthony Higgs, aka the MBD (Mysterious Black Dude) from the trailer.
Q: How does he have a normal sentry with the Gunslinger?
A: He doesn't. He built it with a wrench, then he switched to the Gunslinger, causing everything to blow up at 1:49. Why did it take so long? Because it's a fucking video; the logic doesn't have to match up perfectly with the game.
Q: What are the songs you used?
A: 5:25

A: Yup.

As a Spy....
taking down sentry nests isn't spies job. Spy is not engy's hard counter, Demoman is. Spy is best used as a distraction for the engineer, allowing a demoman, soldier, or even a heavy to swoop in and destroy everything, allowing spy to, ahem, *support* his team
His Engie-sense was tingling. That's why he knew Spy was sappin'.

i have never understood why they let spys be able to spam the shit out of teleporters with sappers...
Because Gaben's favorite class is the spy! But with all seriousness aside, there really should be a limit to sapper use. They should only be able to carry around 4 to 5.

Just no, the engineer isn't supposed to be able to just keep his shit 24/7 and camp the shit out of it, the spy should have almost no problem destroying the engi's stuff when they aren't around.
John Pinkerton A spy shouldn't be able to spam sappers though. It's not hard to get rid of an engineer by placing a few sappers, but a spy having infinite sappers is overpowered.
***** Invincible? Try rockets, sticky bombs, grenade launcher, uber charging, snipers, OR using the limited sappers I mentioned wisely then fighting the engineer.

Yes, the term _Revengineer,_ i.e. an Engineer who uses the Frontier Justice to score kills after his sentry gets destroyed, _was_ named after an achievement wherein you basically had to do the same thing.

As a guy who plays Engie often, the top 3 annoyances I more than constantly deal with are:
1: Spies sapping my sentries, dispensers, and teleporters! I put them there for good reason, and that's basically because engie isn't much good without them!
2: Snipers and demomen blowing up my shit either from beyond range, or from around corners with grenades! Enough already! Stop exploiting shit to get the drop on my sentries!
3: Fucktards attacking my sentry AS IT IS STILL DEPLOYING! STOP IT! It has not had the chance to hurt anyone! LEAVE IT ALONE UNTIL IT KILLS SOMEONE! Sentry isn't deploying fast enough to be a threat, stop killing my sentry as it deploys!
I got enough troubles with sentry mobility and reloading it without having some jackoff blowing it up to scrap! ESPECIALLY in user maps where the Horseman shows up to target players! I set the sentry where I put it for optimal killing power, not to be a target for losers who can't resist disrespecting other people's shit!
Oh, if you see a guy named "Slay{FUCK MY LIFE}, immediately vote to ban his ass! He's guilty of griefing(Spawn camping when maps clearly state "NO SPAWN CAMPING") and cheating(Hacking the damage output of default weapons to deal constant 1 hit kills on a heavy made invincible with a medic's UBER charge), deserving a permanent ban!

In regards to your top 3 complaints, that's really standard anti-Engie play. Sorry mate, you're just gonna have to get better.
This "Slay{FML}" guy does sound like an asshat if you're right, though.
if engi didnt have those drawbacks he would be hella op. if someone comes after your sentry with rockets just dicourage them with your own guns. sappers are fairly easy to break, and spies are usually not much trouble to kill with your wrench. and they wont dare harm you if your sentry is nearby. sentries are meant to secure areas where your teM is strong. if you want more offensive play as an engineer use kini sentries. faster to setup

David Reuveny jag actually was originally just kinda meh, small downside but also small upside. It didn't make a huge difference but now it's actually dramatic with +attack speed and the bonus is meaningful
