    Very interesting to compare to Riverdance in 1994.......same DNA with more punch. Great stuff.....thankyou for posting.....

    Timedance. A song of tradition. Very amazing choice for an Interval act at Eurovision 1981.

      It wasn’t actually. I have been trying to find a video of when it started but been unable. I remember a whole row of Irish dancers tap dancing in unison on a long stage, there was no ballet, it was true Irish dancing. Not one dancer but a whole long row drumming their feet and dancing and afterwards, everyone went crazy for more! Michael Flatley was the one who was asked to organise the dancers but the one who had the the original vision was not Michael.
