- In this video I try out 10 viral crayons hacks (mostly from @5MinuteCraftsRUclips and I have to say, this was so much fun! I love trying new and crazy things, especially when it come to hot molten crayons! BUT, even if it doesn't seem to work the first time, problem solving and not giving up is what will take you to the next level as as artist and a creative!

I'm a fairly new sub. I just wanted to let you know I've been binge watching your channel. My dad passed away a couple of months ago and it has taken a toll on me in every way. @sharelgrace9568 Duncan is an amazing guy who helped me through a tough time too. (Through videos and IRL). I’m so sorry about your dad. I know I’m just a random dude in the comments of a crayon video, but I’m glad you are finding some peace.
The crayon rubbing/scratching off thing DOES work really well, but you have to color aggressively THICK with the crayons and then scratch away all the excess wax on top, revealing smooth color beneath. You'd also do better with the scraper you used in the "rain" wood art piece. ❤ Awesome video!
Duncan Duncan Duncan.. no don't approach the crayon candle.. small business owner here that makes candles. The wax used to make crayons is totally different than candles wax. It's gonna clog the wick n can catch fire.. just a lil fyi

No torch on a mold it’s too hot. Long necked lighter works but only for resin bubbles. It’s fun to see these tricks with crayons 🖍️

It's not my birthday, but I'm going to watch this again on my birthday just so I can feel special. My wife calls me 'special' all the time though, the air quotes hurt a little though!

You could try the rubbing one again, but using a paper napkin. That's what I sometimes did as a kid and it seemed to at least work better than the coin "hack"

When I was little (1950's) my mom would sit me down with a coloring book. I colored the picture with crayon and had to outline it in black too. She would make our pillow cases out of old flat sheets. Then, she would iron on my crayon work of art on my new pillow case.

@@DuncanCustomAirbrush thank you thank you!! Only ever used a uv resin to fix dings and chips on skim/surfboards and kayak. And only 2-part type for the arts. This will change both games!
