- In this video, I show you my collection of antique chocolate pots. We have 18 now and have been collecting for 25 years. If you saw our teapot collection, you will know how we love our porcelain and our chocolate pots are our favorite. I show you some pots made in Japan and some pots made in Bavaria and Austria. Some of these are from the turn of the 20th century. I talk about how hard it is to get these with the cups and saucers and how to identify if it even comes with a saucer. My favorite is the Bavaria with the cobalt blue with the lovely pink roses. I’m a collector and lover of blue and I adore pink! Therefore, this was my favorite. You got a deal on that. It’s stunning. The Art Deco is so sweet.

The signed piece is just so sweet as well. I found a beautiful set for my mother with 6 cups and saucers at a resell shop. They obviously did not know what they had, because I snagged it fir 30.00. Loving your Chanel. I know how much fun the hunt is and how rewarding it is to collect beautiful pieces of history. You are right, it’s so fun to find a piece you are missing. Very recently, I walked into a Salvation Army, and picked up a large bowl, and four matching, smaller bowls, marked "RS Prussia" in the correct, genuine manner. all flawless,too. I think I got the whole set for about $10. Having the ability to check something on the web with your phone is a valuable resource.
Absolutely ! Very cool that is certainly a berry bowl set .....just have to watch for reproductions but at that price I'm sure it doesn't matter 🌷🐇🌷🐇

Hi ya what a beautiful collection I only have one pot and 4 mugs or cups by Clarice Cliff she was my dad's favourite . Mine are in one of my glass cabinets to scared to get them out . I would love to have a cocoa with you but I'm diabetic and don't have chocolate . I do as I'm told after the triple bypass 5 yrs ago after heart attack all because of diabetes and now my eyesight macular oedema . Thanks for showing these marvelous pots. I just love to see your enthusiasm. I am so glad that I found your channel because it's teaching me so many things. When I was a child I found a set of Chinese dragon chocolate pot and cups. They were highly decorated with embossed details. I was so excited to bring it home to my mom but she never really seemed to think much of it. But I still remember the thrill I had when I found it.

Hello. It is so nice to find another RS Prussia collector! I've been collecting since 1994-5. I thought that they were RSG (vs. RS Prussia) based on the more simple design and mold. Maybe 1915 or so? I've been trying to add to some of my favorite pieces for 25 years with no luck so hang in there. I am lucky to find several pieces of RSP per year, and the prices are so much more affordable now. I have a playlist for just the RSP if you are interested.

I watched the coffee pot video too. So i went to the second hand store and found two coffee pots, hand painted, no chips. One is Bavarian and one is japanese with simple hand painted floral patter. There was a creamer pot to go with the japan coffee pot. They had a sale so I pucked up each pot for five canadian dollars including tax. They go for over one hundred a piece. I feel blessed.
