Hi Lou! Wow! Great car! In black it's very good! I love Convertible! Thanks Lou for the review!
Hi Good Russian, Glad to receive a "Wow!" from you :-) Happy to read you love this one. You're welcome, Lou
Thanks!
Hi LOU how are you doing . Wish you all the best in your business .
This is one of the nicest cars that Ford introduced to the car business . For that reason it's a great collectable rare classic Ford ,
also you can find it only in the car museum . I believe it will be very difficult to find another one today .
This particular model was very common in CAIRO Egypt during the period of the kingdom of Egypt .
Also the color is so beautiful and elegant.
I really like this awesome Ford .
Thanks LOU for sharing this beautiful Ford . I enjoyed watching the video. Thanks LOU and please have a great successful business day .
Kind Regards
HISHAM ELFIKI
Hi Hisham Elfiki, Doing well today, thank you for asking. And you? Glad you enjoy this "rare classic" :-) Received your well wishes, and wish a great business day for you too. You're welcome, Lou
Why is this automobile park next to a wall you can't walk on that side of the vehicle or open any other doors come on Lou tell the owner of this vehicle to get in it and drive it away from the wall so we can get a good look at it we want to see the top open and close we want you to start the motor owner start your motor we want you to drive it somewhere ..... the top down... Place the pedal to the middle and drive it about 125 miles an hour
Hi Thomas, This video is in the Volo Auto museum with about 300+ other cars and videoed in Winter. There are many cars are stuffed into the many buildings they have at this location. The car is actually in a pretty large spot where I could walk around it a little. No top down with temperatures below freezing outside :-) Lou
tremendous bit of automotive history. puts jay leno's channel somewhere. way way back. oil bath air filter. bagged windshield washer fluid! educational, Lou!!
Hi Scott Brady, Glad you enjoyed this "bit of history". Thank you Scott for the VERY kind words. Clearly I'm not where Jay Leno is from automotive knowledge, Team of Editors, Influence, however we both love cars and are having fun. I'm humbled by the wonderful compliment :-) Pleased you're enjoying the Channel, and glad you're along for the ride with me, Lou
Just beautiful with rare options. A one year only engine. A 239 which was the same as the 53 flatheads. The following year Chevy had the 265’s coming so Ford had to respond with the 272’s. 1955 brought many changes to the entire industry.
Hi Craig, Happy to read you enjoy the looks and appreciate the rarity of these options. Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou
I love that black car, too! With a drop top, dual exhaust, & the red/white interior, I bet this one is gonna sell fast, & just in time for cruising season.
Hi TheGunfighter45acp, I wanted to video this one to share, because I believe you're right that someone is going to purchase this one soon, Lou
I had one in Goldenrod yellow all customized.
Hi Patrick, Happy to read this car brings back memories of your car :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou
Hey Lou. Awesome looking 1954 Ford convertible. I've never seen one in person. I've seen 2 door hardtops, and I've seen 2 door sedans, but I've never seen a convertible.
Hey Jason, Glad you enjoy this one and think the looks are "awesome" :-) This is the first 1954 Ford on the Channel so I'm glad I was able to share this one with you, Lou
Jason Carpp actually, sort of **my first 54 Convertibles too( we had two 54/s::: a 2 Dr,and 4;Door,), We has none around Warsaw INDIANA AREA THAT I,SEEN:: thouh* heard about the FORD FLASS TOP/ CONV, ETC:: fancy ones!
Why did he park it an inch from the wall?
Because there is a garage door there, and he has SO MANY cars going in and out we didn't want to scratch this one.
When I was little, my grandparents had 2 toy cars, one grey, one drab green. Steel chassis, plastic bodies, no interior.
They were promo toys from a Ford dealership! Never knew the year. Now I do; they were 1954 Fords. Not Crestlines, nor Sunliners, but '54 Fords nevertheless.
What a great car. The shape has been with me my whole 45 years. I was playing with those promos before I could walk. Thanks so much for this video. Cleared up a great mystery!
Hi Todd Wall, That is great that this "cleared up a great mystery!" :-) Thank you for viewing, sharing, adding to the story, and you're welcome, Lou
Todd Wall thanks for sharing, we had two 54 Fords, etc, see my notes,
That's a really nice car.

Before I found the low miles 1956 /4 Door/TBIRD engine, etc.

Such a beautiful car... it's like Batman's exec car for heading off to his bazillionaire board meeting, but still badass! It's got classy written all over it! Love the combo of the black with the red and white inside... serious but with a touch of fun. It's cheery looking inside... and the dash is nice looking. I love love love those gorgeous wheels, super classy! It's another fav. Excellent n fun car n vid... thank you!
HI WickedFireFly13, "Batman's exec car for heading off to his bazillionaire board meeting" :-) WHERE DO YOU GET THIS ! ? ! AWESOME. What a talent you have. Thank you for sharing a comment, and so glad this is another fav :-) You're welcome, Lou
Sweetness. This was the real boulevard cruiser in it's day. Plus it ran a good race also. Don't tell Dad!
Hi Eagle Whitefeather01, Good memories for sure :-) Lou
0.85 bore/stroke-ratio V8 with side valves is what makes this awesome sound! Would love for modern V8s to get back to that for retro cruisers...that and a true dual exhaust without crossover or h-pipe I assume. 👍 7:40
