- So I've technically been working on this since the show ended months ago (if u count the couple months i haven't even touched the project bc I was frustrated with it and also too busy to dedicate time to it)
Anyway I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said by me or a bunch of other ppl by now, so I guess all I rlly need to say is:
This show means a lot to me as one of my favorites of all time. It's a big inspiration and source of joy, so thank you to the ppl that worked on it & the ppl in the fandom for all ur transformative work. I don't know where I would be now without any of it.

God this show is so good, like what the hell. A good chunk of the humour doesn’t land with me, but that’s okay. The show succeeds in its character interactions, emotional plot beats, plot, lore, AND ANIMATION OH MY GOD. It’s one of those of those shows that just make me want to create.

This is the coolest looking show with the most insane animation and having characters that were given so much thought and personality. It's a shame it had to go so quickly but, at least it was able to last while it was still going. I just wish it had more seasons and time to grow because this version of the Turtles is worth exploring. Nick really did this show dirty.

@@darkemperor9581 I liked it because it was different. That's what made it so enjoyable, not every adaptation has to follow the same format sometimes it can just do something completely new. And even if their designs were a little new you can still tell who they were and could still tell them apart. Also if you've seen, every version of the turtles is very different the best example of a adaptation that changed a lot is 1987 TMNT because it's nothing like the comics and went for a more colorful take for the characters.

What's even more unfortunate is how much Nick is trying to bury this show. It's almost impossible to find this show on any for of streaming or VOD. I had to buy the full series on Google Play (it's worth the money, but still, I'd rather not spend any money at all)

This song just by its self makes you wanna curl in a ball and cry but the editing which is absolutely amazing btw with the cuts lining with the music and everything is like a cherry on top, I genuinely want to cry rn this is so good

Wow, as one of the people who, at first, didn't knew what to think of the 2018 show since i grew up with the older ones, this was amazing, i never was able to see the ending of ROTTMNT (just a few episodes when i was lucky) and now that i see what kind of Drama and Action some parts bring in i'm actually thinking of buying the show on a streaming platform. Thank you to give me an even better reason to give this show a fair chance of getting into one of my favourites! 💖

@@strawberrysunshine2305 nope TMNT 2012 was "finished" and has 5 seasons If I recall it right but ROTTMNT, despite only having 2 seasons ( season 2 was rushed ) was cancelled. Good thing ROTTMNT has an upcoming movie on netflix, looking forward to it.

I remember when this show first came out I thought I wouldn't like it because of just how different it is from what I grew up with, but I was pleasantly surprised on how amazing this show turned out to be. They did a good job. I love this fuckin series.
Cannot wait for the movie to release! Really wish more Turtle fans gave this a chance and that Nick didn't screw them over... fluid animation, great voice acting, new ideas (love that they are different turtles species, especially Raph as a snaping turtle). This show had so much potential.

This is really well made and touches my heart. Rise is the show the TMNT fanbase did not deserve but was needed. Just look at how many people got into it through this, as 1987 did a long time ago. Lighthearted and edgy tmnt should not be enemies. Rise is even able to do both well.
I want to be in the universe where it has a lot of merchandise and a healthy seasons lifespan. 😭 But for what we did get, hot soup, and thank you! 🍜

If you like rise of the tmnt then you might really like Lego Monkie Kid, it has the same level of Animation because it's the same Studio. Plus Sean schemmel voices Sun Wukong the character that inspired Goku from Dragon Ball

Even though this show ended to this day I grew up with the og tmnt and when I heard this show was canceled I was very disappointed but with the finale they gave us I was happy

God this is some masterful, masterful editing. Everything flows together so so nicely it’s really really impressive. Every single beat is so neatly synced I- Like I think if I tried pointing out specific parts I liked I’d end up covering the entire amv, that’s how good it is.
Though if I absolutely had to pick my favourite parts, it’d be 0:58 to 1:03 (the syncing from 0:58 to 1:00 with the drone and the cuts between the turtles’ transformation with the cuts in the music from 1:00 to 1:03 is really cool), 1:14 to 1:21 (Leo peace signing down with the drop at 1:15 was just ajsbdjddnk I was half expecting it since I knew the song and knew the scene but to see you actually sync it with that drop was just sksbsjsnk really satisfying; And again the cutting with the cuts in the music, except it’s back and forward between Raph doing his trust fall and the turtles using the powers they got from catching Raph during that trust fall- That was really really cool), and 1:24 to 1:29 (the way it turns at 1:26 and 1:28 with the sustained notes is so satisfying).
And how you managed to select and cut and string the clips in such a cohesive way! There’s a very clear almost self-contained storyline here, like even if you haven’t watched the show you can still feel the emotional impact. And god the emotional impact is just- You really hit the emotional heart of the finale through this amv. I teared up a lot while watching this. Very excellent work!
