Great content like always. Sounds like good news for me. AZ104 has been kicking my butt since I had less time than I used to for studying. Also had to get the az700 since it's already part of the Az104 but more in depth. Only downside for the beta that you didn't mention is that you don't know if you passed unti 10 days after it's out of beta. So I guess taking the 305 would be good with the 80% discount code. Taking these two associates at once has been a bit challenging, but I think I might also take on that 305 when it's in beta and take advantage of my run. Trying to master all clouds too, glad you think alike and I'm lucky that I can take advantage of your experience. I know you said I didn't need to know how to code, but I feel like with terraform and other IAC I should at least be good with python and Javascript. I'll keep at it though, thanks for heads up.

If I am Azure Solution Architect certified in September 2021 ( Last month ) Currently, it has 1-year expiry. But My question is - How can I extend its validity ? As per previous policy, I can extend my certificate validity it's by giving free online exams. since now there is a change in the exam; How can we extend exiting certificates validity ? will it be free or paid ?
It will be Free renewal assessment on Microsoft Learn like other certifications. Renewal assessment is not exam based but is skill based. Detail: If you already passed Exam AZ-303 and Exam AZ-304, you are already Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Congratulations! You don't need to take the new Exam AZ-305. But you need to stay tuned when your current certification is ready for renewal, to take the free renewal assessment on Microsoft Learn.

The overall skills for the architect exams are changing much as we see huge overlap between 104/303 and 304/305. So you should be good and assessment will be same for different paths to same certification.
If you have basic knowledge of Azure, then you should start with AZ 104. And good news is that you can do that for free through Microsoft cloud challenge next month. Hi - I already completed AZ303 in Sep 2021. Which MS Exam I can take in order to get Solution Architect Expert certification. Will AZ303 (Already achieved) + AZ305 is valid combination to get Solution Architect Expert ? Or AZ303 is of no use now and I have to get AZ104 + AZ305 ? Appreciate your help in this regard.

Is AZ-104 prerequisite exam to appear for AZ-305 ? Or with AZ-203 certification we can attend AZ-305 ?
