Congratulations on an outstanding video. I am an anatomist and imaging specialist and I thought the way you delivered the information was very clear for people who don’t have a basic understanding of anatomy and physiology. I’ve had 2 minimally invasive lumbar fusions at L3/4 and L4/5 and struggle with occasional flare ups which I am sure are due to poor technique. I am definitely going to put this theory into practice! I would love to see more on the climbs (I think this is very aggressive for the pelvis and lumbar area) and downhill “tuck” - I’m pretty sure my spine is in the wrong position as well. Thanks again for a great presentation!
broke my sternum in 2018 and this video gives better info in 3 mins than I got from x-rays and 3 doctors. Nobody explained what was broken or how anything connected.
The quality of these videos is exceptional. I suffer from lower back pain and ski a lot (skate and classic). This video clearly explains the impact of skate skiing on discs and posture implications, which is what I was looking for. Well done and thank you!
Amazing video, you are doing an excellent and rigorous synthesis of what we should do to ski for a long time and preventing injuries. I'm at the end of my 60s, I am not as fast as I used to be, but with some arthritis in my lower spine XC skiing is more challenging than before. Great tips to help me going for another 15 years I hope!
Great video. I’m a PT and a passionate skier. I’ve watched this video and a few of your others on skate skiing technique. All have been very helpful and well done. I look forward to trying out some of the skiing tips this morning. Thanks.
This is gold! I'm few years too late..I have neck issues unfortunately due to xc skiing :-( Mostly from classic techinque. I understood every little information you mentioned as I myself have done a lot of study on this topic. Thank you!
Well Done Kim! This is a message that is long overdue. I hope that we can start to cut down on the number of XC skiers who have to quit because of back pain.

I have a herniated l4 l5, and I have found double pole to be a great source of relief...if I use good posture. Thanks for sharing this video!
