I'm so pleased to find these wonderful Perry Como specials here on RUclips. They remind me of the many happy Christmases, sitting in front of the TV with the lights out, & just the lights of our Christmas tree twinkling in the darkness as we watched the Perry Como Christmas special each year. My mother has been gone for many years now, but watching these specials kind of brings her back to me for the holidays. Happy New Year to All. 😊

How do we get along at the holidays without Perry and Nick, two wonderful talented, humble, and great guys we miss them more everyday. CHRISTMAS is not the same without them. We love them more everyday, RIP all of you guys and great friends that we had the pleasure of knowing Love you both, Jeff and Linda.
My family, on my Mom’s side is from the Canonsburg, Pennsylvania and knew the Como family in the 1920’s to 1950’s. I worked in Manhattan during the time that this 📺 special was taped. Mr. C visited the Rainbow Room. Mr. C was ALL First Class Talent w humility to boot. He contributed to my strong emotional Faith, American work ethic, and social fabric. Today he and others in national entertainment are needed to imitate Mr Como, Mr. Sinatra and others are so needed to exemplify American citizenship.

Its so sad the networks decided to put his show on either in late November or early December.. well Perry liked to on as close to Christmas as can be, this is one reason the 1986 special was the last yearly one he did, too bad because theyre so good! She sat down with other actors in the Marriott hotel in Key West when I was just finishing there and she asked for something to eat we were closed I went into the kitchen and got some of our baked breads an milk.
