South Africans never went into droves in those countries. At some point the exiles left said countries and went to go fight the real fight. That's what a lot of people miss. South Africans didn't stay in any of these places longer than they had to. They also didn't go in large numbers & a lot of the exiles were working professionals & put in REFUGEE CAMPS with regulated movement. And none of those countries experienced the kinds of things from South Africans, that South Africans experience from immigrants in South Africa. Zimbabweans are intelligent and productive people but if they think that it's okay for their undesirables to come here and do the things that they do unchecked then we need to ask ourselves what do Zimbabweans tolerate in their own borders if they are okay with their expats going to other countries to do Gumtree scams, Car scams and armed robberies. I seriously doubt that if South africans did the same things in Zimbabwe that there'd be tolerated as much as South Africans do.

Rutendo you are absolutely right. In fact Zimbabwe actually suffered economically after we got independence. After independence of Mozambique in 1976, the RSA government sponsored and trained rebels with a view to destabilising newly independent Mozambique and they could also see Rhodesia was going to be independent soon so they needed a rebel movement to keep those black governemenrs busy fighting at home
The rebels were led by one Andre Matsanga and were trained at Odzi farm in Manicaland
After Zim got independence, Renamo or Matsangaise started attacking Eastern Highlands parts of Zimbabwe to destabilise the country. As a result we had to go into Mozambique to neautralise Renamo culminating in the battle of Casa Banana where the Zim army excelled. It's legendary to this day
    1985 it happened

SA fought for their country and the cadres lives, and to come back. There were lot of battle in the country fought by SAns that didn't go to seek refuge to other countries. I don't know which part you don't understand. Africans keep cadres in camps while these SAns were fighting for freedom. No Africans came and give us guns and help us fight or anything. We did it on our own under leadership of Winnie Mandela. Lesotho, Mozambique, Swaziland, Botswana yes they were passage to deeper Africa. But never had SAns seek refuge in Africa. It was political war and we SAns ended it and call our people back. Africans must not think they helped SA comrades only. SA did the same for lots of African countries asylums and refugees, but they were never kept in camps. And their leaders were staying in hotels, houses and were free to go around. Please musani usphaphela. Even your former president stayed freely here without fear. We lost many lives in SA. That will not be taken lightly. THIS IS OUR GOVERNMENT AND WE ARE SO SICK AND TIRED OF THE MANIPULATION AND ABUSE THEY ARE PUT UNDER BY SOME FELLOW AFRICANS. WE'VE GIVEN AFRICANS 28YEARS OF DEMOCRACY. NOW WE NEED OUR COUNTRY BACK BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF. IT IS ENOUGH NOW. RESPECT US WHEN WE SAY WE WANT TO NORMALIZE AND RECTIFY PROBLEMS THAT ARE GROWING IN OUR COUNTRY. And it's time to pack and go but don't leave your drugs and cults behind . We can't even recognize JBG anymore and it belongs to SA, not another country. Aikona you really know how to destroy a beauty, but you don't know how build beautiful back home. It's a good thing that Dubai quickly saw this and stop it, I don't blame them ,and they don't care about xenophobia name. They've given SAns that name as trademark and I accepted it to make things simpler.

Many countries in the world helped black South Africans in their fight for freedom. Ungratefulness is a terrible thing. It doesn't matter how small the contribution may have been; it must be acknowledged. Many black people across the world protest against apartheid. Jamaican reggae singers made songs condemning the treatment of blacks in South Africa. Yes, they were not in South Africa to suffer physical and mental abuse, and even imprisonment like black South Africans, but they made their contribution in whichever way they could. It's a terrible thing black South Africans are doing when they blatantly denied the help of others. Personally, if someone offered me a glass of cold water, I am grateful. It can save my life. I hate an ungrateful spirit. Today the black South Africans embraced the white SA more than their fellow black Africans. This is the mentality of black people worldwide.

Mxm can anyone tell me what exactly Zimbabweans moaning about SA.? What did they do for SA before. All I know is that Zimbabwe could not help few hundreds of ANC asylum that much. They hid them for few years, and demanded that they come back and fight their battle with NP government, just like all other countries. Hiding few political asylum in your camps for a short period of time given, don't mean that you have done wonders. You did what you should do because you'll also have exiles from your country and need the same help, and SA did that and much more than that, and we are stuck here with the masses of foreigners who don't want to go back home. And now we have a population of people in need than productive people, and people we don't need to add to our high population. It is very wrong of Zimbabwe and all other African countries to think that SA owes them our country. First of all, our political leaders were not refugees and they did not skip the country with their families, nor did they seek houses and all benefits of your countries. They only hide from enemy. We SAns fought tooth and nail to bring our people safely back home. We SAns were alone using anything to distabilize the government, and many of us died and crippled for life for SA to come back to us SAns, not Zimbabweans. If Zimbabweans think that we fought to include them in our busy country they are lied to. Instead of doing what is right for them in their country, then they decide to waste their energy they should be using and focusing on lot of work to develop their country. No one with a right mind will be okay with people leaving their country in thousands every day to come and add to already 4 million of their people in foreign country. And some hiding here, doing all devilish things in our country. These people are the worst creation under the sun. They have brought misery in this country. And their governments don't want them. Where did you ever see old and young women in thousands sleeping in the bushes, living their free countries and houses, lands just to go to be nuisance and vagabonds and lie , saying they are sick. SA is not a hospital. Zimbabwe has hospitals and doctors. Whatever problems they have, they are free to deal with it in Zimbabwe, Malawi, etc like any sane civilians will do. And stop making your problems ours, because we citizens have real bigger problems than this nonsense, and they are caused by you mostly . So please we are not entertaining this nywee nywee SA this, nyweee nyweee Mbeki this, nyweee nyweee Ramaphosa this. This and that SA, this and that we are Africans, so what if you are, get a grip and love yourself. Come and collect these millions of Zimbabweans and forget about ANC. Because of you ANC might lose the power. And don't even think you are going to be voting in our stations, like you did in 2009. Believe, you will see hell, your voting stations are calling you and start packing to go to prepare your compaigns in Zimbabwe. And stop always mixing Ramaphosa and ANC in your stupid Zanupf and your cowardness. Just march back to your homelands and do your duties, nobody will do it for you.

Mama Tshabalala was telling the truth to an extent Zimbabwe never helped South Africa🤞ask uMkhonto weSizwe war veterans and it was not the Zimbabwean soldiers that fought alongside uMkhonto weSizwe but is was Zipra guerrillas which were made of Sotho, Pedi, Ndebele, Xosha Kalanga, Tonga etc and definitely not Shona tribe. The person who lead those operations was a Zimbabwean called Moffat Hadebe and I believe he is still with us. People are using this “we helped you” mantra to hold South African to ransom, I hope South Africans don’t fall for this propaganda.

@@rainbowtrust6347 not exactly there’s another tribe with a similar name but the spelling is slightly different “Tonga” they’re found in Zim and Zambia mostly. Yes Shangaan people are there also but they’re not commonly referred to as Tsonga that side. Hope that clears things up🙏
