This song hurted me so bad because it played so many times on a road trip when I found out my grandma passed whenever I would hear the beat it made me sick today I listened to it fully & fell in love with it for some reason it comforts me now 🤧
That’s your Grandma comforting you and making you temporarily feel at peace instead of in pain. My condolences. I know that pain all too well unfortunately. Lost my Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw and didn’t think anything could hurt worse. That is until last year(2020). I was diagnosed with stage III cancer January of that year and told I had 2 weeks to 6 months to live. Then June I lost my bestfriend of over 15 years and get like I would die without him. Then 5 months later, I lost my girlfriend/mother of my youngest son weeks before I was going to propose to her on my 30th birthday. She passed from a heart attack in her sleep as she slept between our son and I. It was random and unexpected being that she had just made 27 the month before and had no health issues and wasn’t even feeling bad. When it was time to get up to get our son ready for school and put him on the bus, I was confused as to why she wasn’t responding to me and getting up, so I turned the light on and tried to kiss her and shake her to wake her up just to find her stuff and cold. I’ve been through absolute HELL but NOTHING hurt as bad as losing the love of my life in a matter of hours and being the one to wake up next to her and find her. I was already in absolute SHAMBLES from losing my bestfriend 5 months before then and felt like I wouldn’t make it through the pain of losing him. I guess God said, “Hold my beer.” A year later and I’m still a wreck from losing them, but I’m still here for some reason. I tell you my story to show you that you aren’t alone and someone else understands your pain and knows that despite the pain, you WILL make it through. The pain will NEVER go away, but you will learn to love with it and deal with it better as time goes on. Your Grandma would want you to. I’m praying for you. God bless, love. ✊🏾🙏🏾💙
