To be fair, I think they have more money and time to work on this season considering how much people loved the first and second ones. I think the sunset helps with it too
Covid messed up production and filming a lot
Yeah, the production on this show is a lot better than the other CW superhero shows since season 1. It is almost cinematic quality now. Also love the storytelling in this show too. I don't know if it is because I am a dad now, but I like the family dynamics.
@@CJGospelI put off watching this show for that very reason, thinking it was going to have short cgi and fights like the flash and all the other shows. Was bored not too long ago and binge watched the first two seasons and it’s a solid show.
I'm a marvel guy but this scene is miles better than the recent Disney+ MCU fight scenes.

The genius part of this show is even though you see Superman got beating, you know damn well he is actually holding back. Because Miller clearly can't harm him, and if Superman wants, he can finish the fight as soon as he wants. But he wants to help, it kind of shows both Superman's strength and his kindness
its weird that cw shows get superman right.. meanwhile..dc, dceu and possibly dcu will never get him right

A good Superman fight scene. The fight itself is good, but it is nice to see Superman try to take the fight away from civilians, to seem Superman attempting to minimize collateral damage, and Superman caring enough to want to try to save Henry Miller.

Beyond that, the arc of superman starts from zero. Buy the end of everything superman reached final form. But folks like you have no patience or sense of character growth.

You literally claimed here, that Superman has to grow into becoming the caring Superhero he actually is. What you don't seem to know is, that Superman always cared for Humans at the very beginning of his Journey and that he always tried to keep the People safe and out of his Fights. That's the literal Reason why he became the most beloved Hero. With all his Powers he simply helped the People, when they needed help. He literally was raised like that. On top of that, from the Comics to the Movies and even in the Animated Universe it was always his first concern to keep civilians out of harms way. The onyl Time that didn't happen are some Comics, were he was somehow turned bad, where there were at least explanations for Comicfans and than Snyders Version, where you had literally no explanation.
And now you Guys come up with, "Superman wasn't just experienced enough to try to keep People safe", his literal core Motivation to be Superman in the first Place?

That’s supposed to be Onomatopoeia. A new version, but still. Comic Onomatopoeia didn’t have powers that I know of like this one does, and also wasn’t a woman, but was more of a anti-vigilante, and didn’t talk except to say sounds of things he made happen.

uh this fight scene from the first episode of Superman & Lois is absolutely amazing, the actor who plays The Atom Man does it amazing and Tyler Hoechlin is wonderful. Tom Cavanagh did an excellent job directing this first chapter of this new season 👍😃

The show bosses had deleted scenes of Kara in a photo with Clark and Lois
There was supposed to be a batwoman crossover with S&L, the crossover unfortunately got scrapped due to covid (dont believe me google it)
So now we have a show that wrote itself out of the Arrowverse when they originally name dropped characters and events (Oliver trusting Clark) just so the writers could avoid crossovers with the other shows

CGI and VFX get reused a lot which is how they keep the budget in order. with some minor tweaks. it saves them time and money to just recycle.

Most shows do this to save up budget but tweak it a little bit

Probably recycled the season 1 model of Tyler but there’s no scene like this in season 1, Superman and Atom-man only have one fight in season 1 and Superman was wearing his classic golden age suit.

Incredible effects for television. All supes needs to do though with all his collateral damage fights is take them to to the sun where will constantly become stronger and stronger the longer he is so close to the sun.

Bro, back before this show came out I would just watch the Superman vs superman fight in crisis. I thought that would be what this show was. And I was okay with that.
