Appreciate the video between two veteran locksmiths. I like seeing the head to head comparisons of different key machines to help know which would be better to buy. #lockboss
Great review and comparison PJ, really loved how you included someone who already knows both machines and a complete newbie to them-excellent info for any #lockboss thank you 😊🙏
Love the key machine battles you have two good guys there your father AKA The Lockfather and Kip great advice on key machines let's people know the differences between the two the battery-operated one versus a electric power socket operated one great video #lockboss
I would go for the mobile as it can also run on 110 vac and stay fully charged. What caught my attention is the LocFather's comment on having the mobile in his "Yellow Jacket" 3 wheeler; giving me the image of him driving around like the "Ice Cream Man" with signs on the sides (and the tinkling bell, of course); "Keys Cut Here" -- an amusing image for a LockFather familiar #lockboss
Yes! I love the battles on this channel I like the idea of both tools. I would want to modify the battery version to take milwaukee m18 batteries though. Or maybe to the new dewalt powerstack batteries. #lockboss
Fantastic video guys ...I LOVE MY FLASH 110volt how ever Lithuanian is the future and the idea of picking it up and it running it on it's own power is fantastic...you could add solar panel for charging in your van or car just too maintain the power...I just added Lithuanian too my gulf cart and absolutely best money I have spent .so thanks for battle guys...🏖😎
Great Video PJ and friends lol. Id like if you did more videos like that comparing tools and machines and what not. You really made it entertaining but also informative. Thanks for the awesome content, keep it up!!! #lockboss
Great video, I love my Flash Mobile, being able to grab it and cut keys anywhere is a plus. Just waiting to see how the battery holds up in a year or two. #Lockboss
Both machines are great they're pretty much the same platform ones just battery operated with a plug-in adaptable I'd buy them both have the best of both worlds.#lockboss.
#Lockboss I love the mobile, it has been great when I have no place to plug in at. Doing vehicles where there is no outlet available, the mobile rocks. However, I would love to see some kind of carage lock for it in order to use the handle. Right now it's velcro straps.
It was nice comparison #lockboss. I really like the idea of inviting one experienced with the machine and one without it. I have none of these but would love to have one in future. Since I am on vehicle all the time I live battery powered machine.
I definitely love my Flash! I even made my own portable pack for mine for less than $40! Totally worth every penny I spent on it! #lockboss Thanks for the idea for the angled mount! I'll definitely be looking into making one!
I have no complaints with my Flash Mobile as of yet and am extremely happy with it. The battery in the Flash Mobile definitely makes it more versatile than the 110V version for obvious reasons. Being able to transport the Flash Mobile around to various jobs without having to worry about a power source is not only practical, but also extremely convenient. Plus, you can always plug it into a wall anyway if there's an outlet nearby. Having said that, both the Flash and Flash Mobile are #Lockboss grade equipment for sure.
I have a mini speedex and use a Milwaukee tool power source to run it when I don’t have access to power. Comes in handy as I can run other tools with it like my Scotsman tubular key duplicator. I’ve made my own video using it so take a look. #lockboss
During a local power outage at my shop the mobile version was fun to use and keep business running for three hours until power was restored. #LockBoss I just grabbed out of my van by the handle and used it right at my front counter.
Interesting feedback. Do both machines use the same cutter? If there’s more or less teeth on one or the other it might influence the results. Assuming the RPM is the same… Thanks for sharing! #lockboss
Perhaps I'm a little gun shy when it comes to battery operated machines. I prefer to use my Inverter or an extension cord and a 110V machine. Also gives me the ability to take it in the shop and know I'm not going to have a dead battery and no time to charge before I need it. I'll take the 110V machine. #Lockboss
Found that video really informative. Sound like they are both really good key cutters. But the versatility of the mobile offers beneficial options and versitality in that you can use it in the van and on the job. And as a back up if the the shop one malfunctions. But what if the Mobil malfunctions. Lithium batteries I believe don't work well with really cold temperature in vans. But another benefit with the mobile is that if also works with a plug. Thank you for this informative comparison, and I was hoping PJ acted like the lockfathers key did not open the cylinder. #lockboss
I run a Milwaukee Tool mini power source on my Mini Speedex. Turned it into a battery powered key machine. I have a video of me using it. It will have less power than normal but it’s and option.
🌵🇨🇦 I'm adding a 300W 40VDC inverter (Ryobi) to my kit to run my 150W Nomad for when I need to take it on the road. When I get it set up I'll do some testing with RPM etc.... 🇨🇦🌵 #Lockboss.
Versatility is usually the better way to go in my opinion. But if you lose dependability or reliability in the process it then takes the back seat. #Lockboss
I would be proud to have either one. #lockboss
Of all the duplicators I have used hands down my favorite is the Flash 008. #Lockboss
Love the battle videos !! Thanks for sharing #LOCKBOSS
Great side by side comparison between the two! Awesome #LockBoss video!
I like the jaws. Looks like they should be on a much bigger in machine. # lockboss.
I didn’t think battery powered would cool until I used it. Cool vid. #lockboss
Great key machine battle my friend, I would choose the mobile myself. #Lockboss

This #Lockboss is looking forward to his purchase of AT LEAST the Flash Mobile this Spring and POSSIBLY BOTH. Great Machines and Video Comparison.
great video! much fun to watch!
More please, rock the battles and what is better
Love these battles, been considering the flash mobile! Thanks guys! #lockboss
Just going head to head with the Lock Father would be nerve racking.
Great Stuff. I Think Both Machines Have Their Place And Would Be Nice To Have The Both Of Them . #lockboss
Now we are talkin!-PJ

@@clksupplies Yeah, I can't complain when I scored the machine for $217!!! Once in a lifetime deal for an amazing machine!

Hard to go wrong with Silca. Love my Futura, just don’t like the boot up time. These small duplicators also come with an affordable price. #Lockboss
During a local power outage at my shop the mobile version was fun to use and keep business running for three hours until power was restored. #LockBoss
I just grabbed out of my van by the handle and used it right at my front counter.
Yes! That is awesome-PJ
Great comparison. I think I would go with the mobile. #Lockboss
This #lockboss would be happy with either one of them
Good vid. I have the regular Flash and love it.If you plug in the mobile does it improve rpm/power even a tad? #lockboss
no I think it's still the lower RPMs for the mobile thanks for your comments lockfather
Interesting feedback. Do both machines use the same cutter? If there’s more or less teeth on one or the other it might influence the results. Assuming the RPM is the same… Thanks for sharing! #lockboss
Yes they do-PJ
the cutter is the same on both machines thanks for your comment lockfather
Both of these machines are amazing. I'm more for the OG just for Reliability factor of not needing to worry about batteries #lockboss
Good Info #Lockboss!
Good comparison!!

They each have their uses, glad there's a portable option. I wish there was a way to "upgrade" the standard machine to portable. #Lockboss
I run a Milwaukee Tool mini power source on my Mini Speedex. Turned it into a battery powered key machine. I have a video of me using it. It will have less power than normal but it’s and option.
Good show #lockboss
Been wanting the battery powered silca for a little while now. Once I replace my hpc 1200 that got boosted that’ll be my next new toy. #LockBoss
I like the battery idea for portability. Great video, PJ! #AccessLockKeyLLC #HaulinBrass #LockBoss
Awesome battle, but if I have to choose one will be the one with cord. In my business we go to site with pre-cut keys. #Lockboss
Love my flash. That's a cool machine, But I prefer the plug in machines. How long does the battery last? #LockBoss
+- 300 keys-PJ
Enjoyed video, very informative , #lockboss
question when battery powered one is plugged in, does it have same power as the non mobile? #lockboss
It looks to me like either one would be a good investment. #LockBoss
Looks like I made up MY mind! (Now if I can find a USED one…cheap) Thanks! #Lockboss
#lockboss showdown!
I want one so bad! Either one but the mobile would be ideal #Lockboss
I really like the Silca flash. Now I wish there was a conversion kit to convert the normal Flash to Flash Mobile. #LockBoss
Another fun video!! #lockboss
Nice video #Lockboss
I like the Standard Flash but having the Mobile option with an ability to swap to a regular 120 plug would be nice for a #Lockboss.
Is there an estimated life expectancy for the mobile's battery pack? Replaceable? Sure is a neat and portable no-brainer though. #lockboss
I have the Nomad and the Flash Mobile and I love my Flash Mobile it is my primary go to but most of my work is Mobile
#Lockboss
🌵🇨🇦 I'm adding a 300W 40VDC inverter (Ryobi) to my kit to run my 150W Nomad for when I need to take it on the road. When I get it set up I'll do some testing with RPM etc.... 🇨🇦🌵 #Lockboss.
I was wondering if the mobile would feel different if it was plugged in while cutting a key?
Yes, still a bit different -PJ
Approximately how many keys can be cut per charge? #lockboss
+- 300 keys-PJ
very temped to buy the mobile, what's the best shipping method for it? #lockboss
We typically ship them FedEx Ground-PJ
Versatility is usually the better way to go in my opinion. But if you lose dependability or reliability in the process it then takes the back seat. #Lockboss
Great point-PJ
Can they fit big beefy rhk for duplication? #LockBoss
💯 no problem-PJ
Flash mobile is my choice. #lockboss

I would love the mobile, to not have to rely on 110 all the time, it’s just not in my budget right now! #LOCKBOSS
Nice battle. Your Dad is much faster than you PJ😘😘😘😘
Anyone with a good second hand(used) such machines? Needs one horizontal machine for a new shop in Kenya. I will ship it myself.
