I think John sees things but he doesn’t always know right off how to interpret what he sees. He has a vocabulary of symbols and he has to find a way of interpreting his vocabulary in such a way that strangers non native speakers can understand.
i always think its amazing john can blew your mind with some things when he is reading an audience. The person themselves can sometimes have a high awareness which helps john validate what he is seeing feeling. At other times the audience member is very confused or has no memory of what the spirit is trying to convey. What impresses me is john doesnt care about 'looking like an idiot in front of the audience' when he isnt being validated as he tells them just to remember it and later down the track they work out what was being conveyed by spirit.
I can’t do what John does but I’ve had several encounters with loved ones... It wasn’t spooky or scary or weird. I wasn’t “wishing” for it or even always thinking about the person. It was quite unexpected and peaceful. One was a dream; the other two were not. John always says, “You don’t need me,” and I have no particular desire to be read for. I’ve never seen him in person and probably never will although it would be fun. But I don’t need him. If the people I love have anything to “say” to me, they will say it and I don’t care to hear from anyone I don’t love. :)
I guess I will always be an agnostic but unexplainable things have happened to me in my life. My mother came to me after she died. I was out of the country when she died from injuries from a car accident. It was not the typical by your bedside vision but one of total experience. As I woke up she came into my room and her presence filled every inch of it. Then she focused on my body and surrounded it like a warm cocoon and then went through me and away. It was a feeling of intense presence and I realized she had no dimension to her spirit and communication did not need words. Something that cannot be explained to others. Some years afterwards I went to a spiritual medium before the years of the internet. She only had my first name and phone number. She told me things I did not know or had forgotten. I saw her three times and she was phenomenal and she retired. I have never met one yet that compared to her.
I don´t what to know you, nor any so called medium out there to know how they operate, what tricks they use to defraud gullible people like yourself. It´s nice that you feel the presence of your mother. You don´t need any of these charlatans to tell you that she is still with you
In 87, I was talking to a lady as we were working for the first time together at the Anaheim Convention Center...we were just talking out of boredom...she mentioned she and her husband were thinking about buying a large motor home....One of "those thoughts" quickly came in......I said "Don't.."......I couldn't tell her......I had the thought her husband would die soon and she would end up with that motor home and alone in it......so I quickly ended our chat and found a month later he just died. ....so many of us get "those thoughts" but that doesn't make us a fraud.

The car accident story-John said one lived, one died. Turns out two people died and one survived. John said the guy’s mom died but she hasn’t. He said older woman with congestive heart failure and then invited the wife into the reading and even widening the net like that, neither one knew who he was talking about. He said there was an accident with a gun going off but nobody was killed and the guy said a bunch of generations ago someone killed someone by accident. He said there was an adoption in the family and when the guy couldn’t connect that, he changed it to there being an issue of paternity in the family. Do you have an adoption in your family? I do. Do you have anyone in your family where paternity was in question? I do. Do you have a younger male who died in a car accident where one lived and one died? I do. Did you lose an older lady to congestive heart failure? Yep, you guessed it, I have. Do you have someone in spirit with a J or G name? Do you understand the January connection or the 1st of a month? Those are all questions John asked that guy and the guy connected the dots he could for John and we’ll just ignore all the ones the guy couldn’t make work for John.

From there - pick a thing, like missing a leg or firing a gun or a car accident or heart disease or cancer; then pick 2-3 letters or 1-2 months …. You know how many people have diabetes at our older ages? Or cancer or heart disease? Yeah, high probability. Then the letters? 1-2 out of 26, but most first or last names have 1 of 5 letters, so that is another low probability; same with months - there’s stats in the most birthed months, etc. Like the lesbian woman? I could have done her entire reading - recent breakup? She had emotional problems or mental illness or was bipolar? That’s all probable. I hope I’m wrong and these folks can meet with our deceased loved ones, but ………………..

John Edward is SO much more impressive than Ms. Margolis... he actually seems to get real messages, he's so specific; it's like she's just throwing darts, to see what'll stick. Although it was wild that the two women sitting next to each other but not together had grandfathers named "Max" and each Max had a granddaughter named "Jessica". It's like spirit was 'piggybacking'... but I believe they would've received more meaningful messages had John been reading them.
I have always enjoyed watching John’s readings and I think he comes across well and likeable. I attended a reading of his many years ago now and can’t say I was anything but impressed but having watched a few of these videos in here in a row now, he always starts with a J or G name, in every video i have watched...it’s the same thing. I can’t explain how he can explain other situations, or provide the information he does to some people but can’t help but feel it’s weird he literally always starts with J or G.

I've seen more than a hundred videos of his readings / interviews. He's not using the word contemporary like the dictionary definition. He means someone that would be to the side of you in a family tree. Friend, sibling, cousin, spouse. When he says "above you", it almost always means someone older who is above you in a family tree. "Below you", same thing. It's always gonna be someone the person has a personal connection with. Their dead barista isn't gonna come through, unless they had a deep relationship. He doesn't hear a voice, really. He once described it as like being shouted at from a fast-moving car. You might hear a bit of it, but the car's moving so fast that it's already gone by the time you're trying to make it out. He always connects with dead family, so of course it makes sense that "father figure" and "mother figure" would show up often. People who go to him are more likely to be older, since the tickets are expensive, and they're more likely to have dead parents than dead children. Heart disease is the most common cause of death in the US, so of course something in the chest would show up very often. If you're open-minded, keep watching his readings, and esp some interviews. Or read his books. Either he's a complete liar, or you will be struck by how authentic and no-nonsense he is. Down-to-earth. Doesn't try to seem special or better than you. Those are the things I like about him.
Edwards is only specific by forcing the person to somehow reach back in there memory to make something he dreams up fit. Char just works off common names but somehow the "Spirits" only give her the 1st letter of the name?? Why don't the "Spirits" give Edwards more letters of 1st names?? Ha they're both very good at making people believe they can make contact with the dead. But of course they can't. It's a practiced art they have refined over years.

Time is one of the most difficult to predict because time doesn't exist across the veil. On the other side of the veil only exists dimensions. Time is a man made concept. The one thing I do not like in these kind of videos is the interviewer. Journalistic integrity is always thrown out the window when people conducting the interviews cannot stay in the middle and either not be bias or saying they are sceptical. Char Margolis, damn. I'm not entirely appreciative of how you conduct the read with the interruptions and talking over them and even yelling over them. When you're with John, the comparison is huge. John seems so much more calmer and quieter when he does his reads. Sure he speaks fast, but it seems he has learned to bring that down.
I wonder why the messages from the "other side", are always positive. If it doesn't ring for the guy, there isn't a necessary reason to dwell on it unless the loved one is being persistent with passing on that information, which Edwards often does (he doesn't drop the information until someone acknowledges where it belongs because it is important). Furthermore the information he receives is mostly for validation. He admits when he gets it wrong and will often start with a disclaimer before reading. No need to watch carefully. Mediums can be just as susceptible to mistakes as any human in the field they work. Doesn't make em phonies.

Why do you say that? If someone had not long passed, and it was a quick unexpected passing, the spirit can come through very mixed up, as they themselves find it hard to believe they are on the other side themselves, so it's not always accurate

So why can't it be a deceased human speaking to the medium?Because In Ecclesiastes Ch.9 v 5 it informs us, "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing." And again in Psalm 146:4. "When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish". The Bible calls death "sleep", and 99.9% of humans who have died, "sleep" and are oblivious to anything past or present. I died twice, and can tell you that it is not ugly, I was sent back, and remember every single thing..

I can’t do what John does but I’ve had several encounters with loved ones... It wasn’t spooky or scary or weird. I wasn’t “wishing” for it or even always thinking about the person. It was quite unexpected and peaceful. One was a dream; the other two were not. John always says, “You don’t need me,” and I have no particular desire to be read for. I’ve never seen him in person and probably never will although it would be fun. But I don’t need him. If the people I love have anything to “say” to me, they will say it and I don’t care to hear from anyone I don’t love. :)
I guess I will always be an agnostic but unexplainable things have happened to me in my life. My mother came to me after she died. I was out of the country when she died from injuries from a car accident. It was not the typical by your bedside vision but one of total experience. As I woke up she came into my room and her presence filled every inch of it. Then she focused on my body and surrounded it like a warm cocoon and then went through me and away. It was a feeling of intense presence and I realized she had no dimension to her spirit and communication did not need words. Something that cannot be explained to others.
Some years afterwards I went to a spiritual medium before the years of the internet. She only had my first name and phone number. She told me things I did not know or had forgotten. I saw her three times and she was phenomenal and she retired. I have never met one yet that compared to her.

In 87, I was talking to a lady as we were working for the first time together at the Anaheim Convention Center...we were just talking out of boredom...she mentioned she and her husband were thinking about buying a large motor home....One of "those thoughts" quickly came in......I said "Don't.."......I couldn't tell her......I had the thought her husband would die soon and she would end up with that motor home and alone in it......so I quickly ended our chat and found a month later he just died. ....so many of us get "those thoughts" but that doesn't make us a fraud.

He said there was an adoption in the family and when the guy couldn’t connect that, he changed it to there being an issue of paternity in the family.

I have always enjoyed watching John’s readings and I think he comes across well and likeable. I've seen more than a hundred videos of his readings / interviews. He's not using the word contemporary like the dictionary definition. He means someone that would be to the side of you in a family tree. Friend, sibling, cousin, spouse. When he says "above you", it almost always means someone older who is above you in a family tree. "Below you", same thing.
It's always gonna be someone the person has a personal connection with. Their dead barista isn't gonna come through, unless they had a deep relationship.
He doesn't hear a voice, really. He once described it as like being shouted at from a fast-moving car. You might hear a bit of it, but the car's moving so fast that it's already gone by the time you're trying to make it out.
He always connects with dead family, so of course it makes sense that "father figure" and "mother figure" would show up often. People who go to him are more likely to be older, since the tickets are expensive, and they're more likely to have dead parents than dead children.
Heart disease is the most common cause of death in the US, so of course something in the chest would show up very often.
If you're open-minded, keep watching his readings, and esp some interviews. Or read his books. Either he's a complete liar, or you will be struck by how authentic and no-nonsense he is. Down-to-earth. Doesn't try to seem special or better than you. Those are the things I like about him.

The one thing I do not like in these kind of videos is the interviewer. Journalistic integrity is always thrown out the window when people conducting the interviews cannot stay in the middle and either not be bias or saying they are sceptical.
Char Margolis, damn. I'm not entirely appreciative of how you conduct the read with the interruptions and talking over them and even yelling over them. When you're with John, the comparison is huge. Why do you say that? If someone had not long passed, and it was a quick unexpected passing, the spirit can come through very mixed up, as they themselves find it hard to believe they are on the other side themselves, so it's not always accurate

Have you noticed how all psychics only tell good things, and never bad? Not everyone goes to Heaven. Some go to hell.
Most have standards and don't want to hurt the person they are reading. We all know that both good and bad are in our futures.
They have standards? They make up complete lies while impersonating the deceased loved ones of these people, violates their memories, all for profit, and yet you say they have standards?
I think, I feel, I believe, I know-used interchange-ably yet very different. You assertion that some people go to Hell is a belief, something we may believe, but cannot know. A fact is the sun rises each morning. This we actually know. They are, as a group, careful in what they say, particularly in a public forum. Some do give cautions, however. PS Not all psychics are publicly or well known, nor do they seek to do this or seek $ for it. Some folks just have things come to them.

False comfort is given by all mediums, psychics, tarot card twirlers and too many misinformed paranormal groups. The Scriptures say in Leviticus Ch 19. v 31. "Do not turn to mediums or *necromancers; do not seek them out...".(*Those who seek to talk to the dead, the Lord calls an abomination.)
Mediums - whither using traditional methods, an *EVP or “ghost box” - believe they are communicating with or taking messages from a loved one. However, even if the information you are given by the medium is accurate, it won't be coming from your deceased mother or that friend who died in a car crash. It can only be a demonic entity whose agenda is our spiritual destruction. The demonic excel at deception. They can shape-shift, use every day objects to amaze or terrify and have the power to fabricate ANY type of "reality.” Those negative dark entities will also only be too pleased to act as your personal “spirit guide”.
So why can't it be a deceased human speaking to the medium?Because In Ecclesiastes Ch.9 v 5 it informs us, "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing." And again in Psalm 146:4. "When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish". The Bible calls death "sleep", and 99.9% of humans who have died, "sleep" and are oblivious to anything past or present.
In John Ch 5. vers 28-29 it explains, "Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear His voice (Jesus Christ) and come out; those who are believers and have done good, to the resurrection of life". Unbelievers are called to the Judgment much later.
In Revelation Ch. 21 vers 7-8 it says, "but as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murders, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars; their portion will be the lake that burns with fire, which is the second death.” If you put your trust in deceivers, are you prepared to accept the consequences? The choice is yours to make.
