How beautiful, I love this. How wonderful, I hate when they stop making products. Probs 15 years ago Clarins use to have a colour tint with no SPF u could use it as a base for wedding makeup, it was great. These days I use Clinique universal surge skin tint with SPF. It is fairly nice for a quick make up
How exciting! I love this product, can't wait to try the new version 😍😍😍 Side note, every one of my Chantecaille purchases was totally influenced by you 😆
I actually have just started using Charlotte Tilbury magic foundation, beautiful. I use to use a serum foundation by Napoleon with no spf and it was build able and beautiful on the skin. I also love the blush ❤
U look beautiful. The old Chantecaille skin tint was too drying for me, I wear their future skin . But since this has been reformulated, I’ll try again. I have so many Chantecaille products, lately been diving into Lisa Eldridge which I love too! So many choices? 😅 have a great weekend.
it’s hard to beat the magic of future skin, but the new formula of just skin is definitely more hydrating than the old one! I’m a big fan of Lisa Eldridge too, I just ordered one of her new lip balms to try ☺️
Hi Sandra can you make a comparison with Lisa Eldridge skin tint? I am debating which to buy lol, as well can you make a video of your Tavel make up bag for hot places? Would be nice to see what works. Love your videos and reviews. ❤❤ thanks for sharing.
They’re very similar in performance and coverage from my personal experience. you really wouldn’t go wrong with either - your decision would ultimately come down to texture preference, shade match and price point 🙂 in terms of texture, Chantecaille Just Skin feels a touch more hydrating as it’s a more substantial “moisturizer” formula, LE is a very very thin fluid “tint”, almost like a dry oil texture. neither settle into my lines, pores or dry patches!
It’s an annual trip that we repeat every year so safe to say we love it lol we mainly stay at Rosewood Mayakoba resort in the Mayan Riviera, and at Lula hotel in Tulum 🥰 we like to rent a car and sometimes we venture out to Coba, Valladolid and Merida.
What is your shade in Chanel foundation? I was using the color Bliss in the Chantecaille skin tint and now I'm finding it quite peachy. The color Vanilla seems a bit dark when I tried a sample. I use the shade B20 in Chanel.
When you say this is more hydrating than the old version - is it oilier/shinier? I get shiny in T zone so bit apprehensive of the reformulation. Thanks!
Not oilier/shinier at all, it just feels like it helps my skin retain more water. I’m combo/oily but dehydrated so I like a formula that helps balance me out. I don’t get any oilier with this than I did with the old one 🙂
such a great question - i like them equally!! i've actually been enjoying mixing them together 😄 they perform very similarly on my skin, the main difference is texture: Chantecaille Just Skin has a creamier, more substantial texture. LE Skin Tint is super thin and fluid, almost like a dry oil. they're both undetectable on the skin with a natural finish, light coverage and fragrance free. I find the Chantecaille a bit more hydrating, whereas the Lisa Eldridge has a more robust shade range and a slightly lower price point (Chantecaille is $70 USD for 35mL of product vs Lisa $49 USD for 30mL)
Tried a few shades in store and couldn’t get a good match which is so frustrating. I wear Chanel B30, BB warm beige and Armani 5.75!! Please help if possible!
so frustrating!! which shades did you try? i think vanilla would be your best bet, albeit would perhaps be too yellow for your liking? next shade up is nude but it might be too peachy. i'm b30 in chanel in the summer and 3.5 in armani (light medium neutral olive, slightly warmer undertones in the summer). i do wish that they expand the range and offer more nuanced undertones in both the tinted moisturizer and future skin!! they're such beautiful formulas, the shade range does them a disservice
Unfortunately for me, most, or maybe all Chantecaille products have some form of algae in them. I realized several hundred $$ ago that the Rose Glow Face Tint and the Future Skin in both the pot formula and the cushion were the cause of my annoying eruptions under the skin that never came to a head. For some reason, their powders which also contain algae, don't have the same effect on my skin.
That is so frustrating!! I know that algae and its derivatives can be an acne trigger for some, and it’s in a lot of products due to its antioxidant properties. I’ve even seen algae derivatives in some acne-fighting lines touting anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties! it can be tough to navigate. I’m glad you were able to pinpoint the exact ingredients and products to avoid in order to keep your skin clear 🥰 wonder if since powder is the last step, there is enough of a barrier between it and your skin so that you’re not getting any adverse effects
I just tried this and tbh I didn't find this any different than the og and it's also.... smaller. New wave is 1.2oz and original was 1.7 resulting in a 20% increase price wise. It's just not good enough to justify that increase when there are so many decent tinted moisturizers because let's be honest the SPF 15 is a token marketing feature. If you are serious about sunscreen you know that mixed products like this with SPF 15 mean didly squat which is unfortunate as it is an overall decent formulation for sensitive skin if you need a base product.
The older formula didn’t sit as nicely on my dry patches and post-blemish marks so I personally feel a tangible difference in hydration. Would have liked to see 1.7oz in the new one as well and I totally agree with you re: spf!!
Beautiful! Love Chantecaille! One of my favorites. Good to hear the new version of the Skin Tint is just as good.
It really is! thank you for watching!
So excited for this. It's already one of my favorite base products! Thanks!
it's been a long standing staple for many! you'll have to let me know what you think when you end up trying the new formula. xo
It’s so rare that a reformulation is truly an improvement! I’m thrilled for you that a favorite product is now even better.
it really is! most of the time i am left sad (still not over the dior face and body reformulation lol)
Pretty makeup look!
Thank you so much 😀

Just curious.. where’d ya stay in Mexico? Would u recommend?

B30 in Chanel and medium in the Chanel water tint (in the summer)

I love this , I just wish they would’ve amped it up to SPF30.
i agree, that would have been a nice benefit!!
