I heard these two guys together (, Christian and Monty) on SiriusXM Channel 76 the other night. They were outstanding, the piano and bass were swinging.
Really, Americans? You let a world class pianist play on a shitty plastic keyboard, instead of providing him with a proper grand piano? Know your culture!
Poor ol' Monty seemed really upset didn't he😄No doubt they would easily have happily provided him whatever instrument he wanted-but it's easy to see they were loving what they had, and that's what counts, so-job done!
@@jbthepianist I do appreciate the greatness, this is why I commented against the keyboard. It tells you about respect for Jazz. The country of origin should pay the most respect to its artists. It doesn t. This case to me is only a symbol, I don t know the circumstances of the concert.

Interesting. I had a MicroPiano in the 90s. Not the most detailed or spacious sound, clearly dated by today's standards but still seems to hold up.
