- Painting with marble is definitely an easy Fluid art technique for beginners. All you need is acrylic paint mixed with pouring medium, canvas and marble.
This time I used just black, white and gold and left a lot of negative space, because I found my last painting with this marble technique little to busy.

All my paints are mixed with Boesner Guardi acrylic binder and acrylic emulsion.

My son took an art course in college and had to do pour paintings. He said he hated it and never wants to do it again.
I sent him your video from yesterday with the marble. At 1:30 am this morning. He tested and said “Mom, let’s go get the paint colors I like when I come home this weekend. I’m going to do that!”

So mesmerizing to watch the marble swirl through the paint! I found myself tilting my phone so that the marble wouldn't fall off!🤣 Love it!

See. It looks really pretty. When I do a marble pour, Im never in love with the section that I add on secondarily. You poured it on and made it all match. It looks great.

Negative space is a good idea. I like it very much. It reminds me of my picture with a marble. I used yellow instead of gold. But without the negative space.

Using a marble is the coolest idea ever!!! When you added the second puddle my thought was “Oh no, why did she do that? It looks great already”. I should have known you knew what you were doing. The painting is wonderful!!!
I felt she could us other colors in the 2nd pour but I enjoyed it.
