It was a lot harder to tell than I thought. Only the ending palm mute tipped me off

A lot of gain pretty much equals no difference. At a live show, the pickups on the FF might need to be upgraded, but if you only play at home and record, they will do. Fun video, TBG!

Thank you, good sir. I agree, if you’re up on stage, the pickups will give you away. But, high gain through an amp sim and the difference is minimal!

I'm an Ibanez fanatic, I have 7 RGs ranging in price from a $299 RG220B I got brand new in maybe 1999 to a 25th Anniversary Premium RG1XXV (which I got used last year, but I think they were about a grand back in 2012 when it was new), and I love all of them. The Premium is excellent quality, but I actually prefer my Frankenstein RG I built out of random parts.

That’s awesome! I love Ibanez as well. In fact, I have a Jackson V Ibanez video coming out soon. I just filmed it yesterday

@thetattedbaldguy I will definitely be checking that out.
Almost all of my shorts/streams, I play an Ibanez. I may actually sell my Schecter C-7 Diamond Series (I have OCD, it doesn't match my RGs 😂😂😂, plus I just got my RG7421 7 string decked out with Dimarzios and love even the clean tones now), but my Fender Jazz Bass and Fender acoustic/electric are staying, sentimental value.
