I prefer British and German rifles, I got about 30 including one Turkish, a Webley raider, very good for the money, as I mentioned in the video you did on the kral puncher, it's fantastic for the money, was going to buy one but put the money towards new ultimate sporter.
I’ve got the speedster and it’s basically just taking space in my gun rack. Good to 20m, 35/40 was a none starter. Although, I do have a .22 it’s a shame really I love the concept. I’ve tried a good 20+ pellet types and multiple weights. I’m now sticking to my German / English rifles and one of them is the bsa lightning that is awesome!!
Had a lightening as my last gun, fitted it with a Hawke scope (can't recall egsct mag as I became a full time carer for my aging parent so it didn't become the engaging equipment others had or even that I meant it to be, however the small use it did get I can say with heart felt honesty, it was a lovely rifle and I wish I hadn't had to part with it but sometimes you have to let loved ones/items go so they are either appreciated & used as intended or you withhold & eventually regret that they were stored and never used as intended. So I've now just got my first PCP rifle (never had before) I was hoping the local retailer had a Gammo Coyote, unfortunately they hadn't,but they did have a Stuger XM1 (wasn't sure) but got at reasonable price,turns out I've got a not too shabby bit of kit for a first PCP ,anyone any advise? Like I say I'm new to these type of rifles,springers I know about about but these gas guns are new toys (so to speak 😜).
Looks like a gen 1 swarm whisper converted to springer to get the U.K. sub 12 status. My IGT maxxim shoots a steady 17 ft lbs, ok for here in the U.S..
it is igt the only gamos with igt are this one,maxxim elite swarm (wood and synthetic) and one of the whisper models. all the varmint series and the roadster/speedster are coiled spring.
This is confused. It’s definitely not a PCP as stated at the beginning of the video. If it’s the Gamo Rocket is it not gas ram? If it’s not the Rocket, is it not the Gamo Varmint Swarm Barricade multi-shot springer?
Like on my gamo magnum, the cheek rest seems to be too low for a scope. What happens, when you cock it on an empty mag? Is there some mechanism, to prevent dry firing it?I'm not so sure, that a break barrel, will stay precise over decades. The tiniest bit of abrasion would allow quite a bit of movement at the muzzle. If i would buy another springer, i'd go for an under or side lever rifle. I haven't had any problems with my Gamo break barrel, but i would go for a rifle with a fixed barrel instead, from todays perspective. Btw: I find the trigger abysmal, compared to my HW-100, rieviewers said it was goodish, but it's absolute crap in comparison with an actual good trigger. Did the previous owner of that specific rifle polish the internals of the mechanism?
Sounds like a gas ram? I know nothing about these rifles but sounds very much like my HW 90s while cocking it. I have looked on Google and some say it's spring some say gas ram? Enjoy your reviews, keep em coming, don't do TV as it's all political these days.
Nice gun. Never been a huge fan of a break barrel. But i do love Gamo guns
