My son and I Love Sabaton’s music! Sabaton is one of the few Metal bands that you can enjoy the lyrical content.

They're such amazing people and artists. I've seen them so many times now and each show is bigger and better! They can come and play Graspop each year! 🤘

When they hit the stage in Montreal this fall at their first headline arena show in the North American continent. Joakim where he normally pulls his aviators off during Ghost Division was sobbing had tears running down his face when he pulled them off and he barely was able to go into the next set of vocals. He took one look at a sold out arena with 8000 people and you can tell he and probably the rest of the band got to see all the hard work they've put into proving many people wrong on them not having a chance in North America. They played a couple dozen venues in the US with capacities of 5-6k and they were super close to a total sell out tour again. Seeing Joakim cry when he pulled his shades off proves to me at least they work hard and deserve the support.

To be fair, the guy thought that in 2006 when he first came across Sabaton.
Sabaton was only 7 years old at the time😉
... and Iron Maiden is still touring, so what is a "old band" and what is a "new band" seems to be a relative term anyway & depends on who you ask.

"a club outside of Antwerp, Biebob"
lol for us that's not Antwerp anymore, that's really far 😅 Vosselaar is an hour away by bus or car.
figures it would have started there. When I was a little kid, everyone knew that was the place to be if you enjoyed metal. you have the club and a couple houses further is the metal record store.
the guys that made the festival were probably all regular visitors there, since Vosselaar and Dessel are NOT as far away from each other as Vosselaar is to Antwerp. (bear in mind; tiny country 😉)
and you guys are welcome here EVERY year 😎🤘💣💥
