    Hi Shyam, can’t tell you how thankful you are (quite excited as I’m writing). You’ve been such a meaningful guiding voice that instill assurance to life & urges to go deep inside beyond all labels we have created.
    You’ve been really instrumental to me in picking meditation as a practice, can’t tell you how meaningful the practice it has been to me.
    Cult App has really been such reservoir of content on mental health. Thanks a lot for that!
    Thanks to you with all my love. I wish to hear more of your work. And someday meet you in person (a fan moment to me)
    Have a goo day!

Let’s continue this fascinating journey, as we explore the inner dimensions of the mind, Meditation, and deepening self awareness :) 🤍

    Hi doc, you have no idea how much your words have shaped my thoughts and life positively. Whenever I'm distressed, I remember what you once told on the radio "nothing is a maker or breaker of your life", living by this phrase I feel more calm and accept things in life. Pls have some interactive sessions sometime.

    Sir, the problem with me is that I constantly think about unnecessary things like if I went to a party last night then I will constantly think about the people I met there,people who ignored me ..etc. and it takes me at least a day to come out of this.
    Please give some suggestions

    Hello Dr. Bhat, thank you so much for such informative and well-structured videos. The videos have definitely helped me sort my thoughts and also helped me understand my depression and anxiety better. However, I'd a request. Could you please cite the research and the studies you mention in the videos? If you could link these research papers and studies in the video, it would help to learn and research more about these topics.

    Doctor I have a question taking omega 3 fatty acid supplement will it reduce depression.Thank you Sir

    • @drshyambhat
      @drshyambhat  Год назад

      Thanks for your question! Research shows that adding omega-3 supplements (especially EPA and DHA) to regular treatment (medicine and therapy) improves mood better than regular treatment alone. EPA and DHA are important for keeping brain cells healthy, and can help prevent depression, especially if your diet doesn't include enough of it. I often suggest omega 3 supplementation as part of a larger treatment plan, but it depends on the individual. In general though, getting more omega-3s in your diet is a great move for your mental health. I will do a video on supplementation for mental health soon!"

    🙁🙁 How can I accept my self if I Don't like my self, I can change myself but it is like I m stuck in this state of mind (overthinking, being mostly nagative, low self esteem, low confidence, can not be able to express my self properly)
    it is like loop that I can never stop.
    This was totally helpful but I think I am tired of everything. This is just anxiety, not depression, but it is definitely costing my happiness.

    • @drshyambhat
      @drshyambhat  5 лет назад +2

      Sorry to hear about your struggle.. Self Acceptance can be challenging, and this is a uniquely human issue, My next video will explore self acceptance and how to improve it. While information is empowering, it can't replace seeing a professional, so do not hesitate to seek help if this continues, take care..
