We appreciate you're thirst for knowledge and looking into the aspect of hadith in Islam. It should be noted that this video is by a shia, and is not representative of Islam (It's a whole thing and y'all will probably have to watch several videos on this matter lmao). Hadith in a nut shell are sayings of the prophet, however to verify the validity of hadith, a stringent and meticulous science was developed to ensure the authentic of the narration of the prophet and so and so forth. This differentiates itself from Christianity, because the Christians and most other religions don't have a strong system of preservation when it comes to their books. For example, we don't know the author's of the bible, we have a first name but we don't know their last name, lineage, character, how were they known in their community, were they trustworthy, etc. Again this is not "Christianity vs Islam" this is just to point out a fact regarding the preservation of the scriptures and text that govern a people. If you can't authenticate and validate the words you follow, as Muslims, we believe that is a major problem and risk.
