Florida Ghost doesn't revert, it might have gotten less light though. But that's definitely a ghost! Pop it under higher light and it should get spooky on new leafs :)
I love plants from Kaylee, her actual plants that aren’t in need of ‘rescuing’ are gorgeous and perfectly healthy. I think she mentioned in a video the thing that makes these rescues is through them just needing a bit of TLC and rehab but they’re all clear of pests as far as she knows.
Like playing a game show of, What’s this plant????…. Haha I wonder if anyone else talks back to you?….. Such a charming young lady and lovely having you to visit with and talk plants…. (Isolate in the hallway)💛 Yes, I’m interested in the Rare Plant shop but in the States. I’m in Louisiana 😁😎
Plowmanii and other philos when more juvenile will produce the new leaf from the petiole. My Mcdowell also does this. As well as my elchoco red. When they mature to a point they will give you a cataphyll
I‘ve buyed a Paraiso Verde about five weeks ago and the lovely lady at the plant store told me that they just produce variegated leafes in (spring and) summer. 😊
I will be looking into rescue boxes near me in the United States. I love mystery boxes!!! ❤❤❤ I feel like I'm opening Christmas presents when opening mystery boxes! 🎄♥♥ THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS RESCUE BOX VIDEO.
Gorgeous box! With the paraíso verde, all it needs to grow variegated again is heat. 30+ celsius, bright light and humidity and you’re there 😊 mine reverts each winter and grows variegated in the summer
Kaylee has a video of her chopping a big Florida ghost from about a month ago! I wonder if you got one of those cuttings! All of these rescues look in fantastic condition, it seems like it'd be a great score for a new rare plant parent!
What a coincidence. I just got her book the Plant rescuer yesterday. Its perfect! Just what i was looking for.Well worth the money. Going to watch your vidio now.xxthanks. im intrigued as too what the plants are going to look like!?The veining on that crystylinum plant is so striking. If u turn it upside down it looks kinda like a pinecone!.
I think some of the plants from their "rescue box" were also lower value which are not worth the space they take up 😂 I got really lucky with my box, I've received huge philodendron gloriosum, anthurium forgetii and magnificum. I'm over the moon 💚🌱
I believe that is a 'Florida Ghost' (I don't think the Rare Plant Shop even sells the green one). Put it in high light and see what happens when the new leaves emerges.
I love Kaylee Ellen (actually just got done watching her Friday video) and I love you! Putting those two together is a great thing! Thank you for this great video!
I chopped all my plants that were reverted (syngonium mojito, philo burle marx variegata, peace lily variegata, adansonii variegata) and somehow the variegation came back. Not as strong as before but they show. I'm thinking of chopping them again to see if it'd encourage more striking variegation. My paraiso verde is looking great right now but if it starts losing its variegation I'd definitely chop them down too! It's worth to try for me since the main reason of us wanting these variegated plants was the variegation itself, so I'd try hard to bring it back! Also, we can propagate the cuttings if we want or simply give the cuttings away to friends or family. Good luck with the rescue, Claire ❤
florida ghost new leaves are whitish if exposed to enough light. Then it slowly changes to green eventually. From Kaylee's videos, she has mentioned that she uses professional level pesticide (where you have to clear the building) for pest control
That one plant is a plowmanii, but they take a while before they start crawling when they’re juvenile. I have one and it looks exactly the same and behaved in this exact way
@@ronjakh how are they are not alike? Same leaf shape and size, same silver spotting, same sheen and colours? What makes them too different for you not to compare?
Nice rescues! My crystal is in a soil mix and have been nervous to change it to pon.. Most of my hoya are in pon but I am afraid to make the switch with crystal.. 🌱💚
Hi Claire, beautiful plants. I have a reverted Florida ghost & the leaves come out the same as that. I always get exited & think it’s reverting back again but then it goes darker x
Now that is a decent price for a rescue box! 😊 I would love to get one here in EU side but only one I've seen was 75€ and in the photo there where P. erubiscence and other "cheap" plants. Love them too but the price is redicilous imo..
I just received my first rescue box from Grow Tropicals. I'd love to know what techniques you use to isolate new plants please? I have a small house and restricted space to keep new plants separate xx
After doing a good initial inspection to get rid on any dead or rotting issues, I use one of those clear plastic tubs with a well closing lid (turn it on its side if the plant is too tall.) It’s like a large propagation box (ha ha) but without any medium on the bottom. Just pop in the plant(s) in your medium of choice. I often keep the plant in what it came in. Check on them once a week after initially making sure the medium has some moisture. Sometimes it takes a couple weeks for eggs of pests to hatch. Put in bright location. Treat pests in there if needed. Good luck!
Maybe rescue plants means she lost the labels too them so since she didn’t have names they’re “rescues “ now 😂 or she said she had to take down her living wall so maybe these are plants off her living wall 🤷🏼♀️ Also she has talking about using heavy duty pest control so good call on not putting predatory insects
I have small children and just started buying plants, do you have any tips or tricks for hanging the plants? I cant leave them on a stand unfortunately as my toddlers can knock it over and climb..
You have probably been asked this 1000 times…. But… why if a plant is doing well in moss for example, do you then transfer it to soil? Thaaaanks. P.S. love your videos, found you recently and been on a binge! 🤍
Florida Ghost doesn't revert, it might have gotten less light though. But that's definitely a ghost! Pop it under higher light and it should get spooky on new leafs :)
True! Older leaves turn green but new leaves will come in more white with more light!
I’VE OBSESSED WITH EVERY PLANT I’VE EVER GOTTEN FROM THE RARE PLANT SHOP. WORTH EVERY PENNY!! -from the US
I love plants from Kaylee, her actual plants that aren’t in need of ‘rescuing’ are gorgeous and perfectly healthy. I think she mentioned in a video the thing that makes these rescues is through them just needing a bit of TLC and rehab but they’re all clear of pests as far as she knows.
I’m impressed!! If I wasn’t in the US, I wouldnt hesitate. I am too scared of possibly losing them all in shipping. ☹️
Wow ,all are huge and beautiful!👍
💚☘️🌱🌵💚
Thanks so much for doing this Claire. Really appreciate you featuring Rescue boxes 🙏♥️
You’ve done a lovely thing encouraging shops to do this and Claire clearly appreciates these babies💚
Like playing a game show of, What’s this plant????…. Haha
I wonder if anyone else talks back to you?….. Such a charming young lady and lovely having you to visit with and talk plants….

Yes, I’m interested in the Rare Plant shop but in the States. I’m in Louisiana 😁😎
Thank you.nice sharing
Cannot WAIT for your pot and chat with these new kids! 😍

Aww i love watching kaylee. The plants are gorgeous 💚
I‘ve buyed a Paraiso Verde about five weeks ago and the lovely lady at the plant store told me that they just produce variegated leafes in (spring and) summer. 😊
@8:44 is definitely a mamei. The petioles are ribbed and kind of flattened. Leaves are more elongated than plowmanii
Love your energy ❤
1st plant chrystalinnum x Magnifium
3rd plant Phlio pastazanum white maybe
The rare plant shop are using pest controle bombs as they are calling it in Kaylee Ellen videos. Lovely plants!🤩
Wow!! If those are rescue plants, their regular plants must be in very good condition! 😍
For Anthurium Crystallanium check the stem if D shaped then it is hybrid with Magnificum 😊
I'd love to get a rescue box in America! Beautiful too rescue some rare beauties
YEEEEESSSS!!!!! Kaylee’s rescue boxes are amazing!!!! Wish I’d had some spare cash. And lived in the UK 😭
Your Florida Philo is a Florida Ghost. Looks just like my plant after a white popped leaf matures for a few weeks.
Ahhh it’s Kaylee’s shop! Her RUclips channel is awesome as well ❤
Gorgeous box! With the paraíso verde, all it needs to grow variegated again is heat. 30+ celsius, bright light and humidity and you’re there 😊 mine reverts each winter and grows variegated in the summer
Yes, it is her Ghost. She put out a video when she cut it up recently.
Yay! Two of my favorite creators❤
Kaylee has a video of her chopping a big Florida ghost from about a month ago! I wonder if you got one of those cuttings! All of these rescues look in fantastic condition, it seems like it'd be a great score for a new rare plant parent!
Those rescue plants look better than my plants
This is just a reg unboxing; not like rescue box. Thanks for sharing!
Rare plant shop? Wow, didn’t expect that on this channel
Why?
What a coincidence. I just got her book the Plant rescuer yesterday. Its perfect! Just what i was looking for.Well worth the money. I’m so glad you got a ghost and a PV that is so gorgeous and actually variegated! :D
I'm in Canada but I'd love to buy a box like this! Never thought of it before, thank you 💚🌵🪴
Great haul Clare!🤩
I think that is a Florida ghost. That’s how mine looks when it puts out new leaf. As it hardens it might get a little more minty. Great video!!
I think some of the plants from their "rescue box" were also lower value which are not worth the space they take up 😂 I got really lucky with my box, I've received huge philodendron gloriosum, anthurium forgetii and magnificum. I'm over the moon 💚🌱
Wish I could get a rescue box from her! Her shop looks amazing! You are so lucky! Glad you had the opportunity!
I believe that is a 'Florida Ghost' (I don't think the Rare Plant Shop even sells the green one). Put it in high light and see what happens when the new leaves emerges.

I think the one you called a plowmanii is actually a climbing mamei looking at the pertioles xx
Your Jerry Horne is massive! I also got one in the rescue box just 1/3 of the size 😅 I still love it.
florida ghost new leaves are whitish if exposed to enough light. Then it slowly changes to green eventually. From Kaylee's videos, she has mentioned that she uses professional level pesticide (where you have to clear the building) for pest control
I love these videos, definitely going to get a rescue box or 2 for myself 🌞💚
First plant looks like a Clarinervium. It's probably a rescue because it's sun bleached or over/underwatered and therefore has a yellowing tip.
Definitely not a clari - they have a very distinct ’heart shape’
That one plant is a plowmanii, but they take a while before they start crawling when they’re juvenile. I have one and it looks exactly the same and behaved in this exact way
9:00 I think that might be a Philodendron Sodiroi, they look like Plowmanii but are climbers!
it’s definitely not a sodiroi. plowmanii and sodiroi don’t look alike at all 🙂
@@ronjakh how are they are not alike? Same leaf shape and size, same silver spotting, same sheen and colours? What makes them too different for you not to compare?
I think the anthurium could be a crystallinum x forgetii. The sinus is really close.
I think so too
Nice rescues! My crystal is in a soil mix and have been nervous to change it to pon.. Most of my hoya are in pon but I am afraid to make the switch with crystal.. 🌱💚

Can't understand that they send plants without any labels
Likely a ghost that was far from the grow lights imo 💚

Went as fast as I could to the site, and plant rescue box is sold out. Says you’re allowed one box at a time also.
Maybe rescue plants means she lost the labels too them so since she didn’t have names they’re “rescues “ now 😂 or she said she had to take down her living wall so maybe these are plants off her living wall 🤷🏼♀️
