Florida Ghost doesn't revert, it might have gotten less light though. But that's definitely a ghost! Pop it under higher light and it should get spooky on new leafs :)

True! Older leaves turn green but new leaves will come in more white with more light!

I love plants from Kaylee, her actual plants that aren’t in need of ‘rescuing’ are gorgeous and perfectly healthy. I think she mentioned in a video the thing that makes these rescues is through them just needing a bit of TLC and rehab but they’re all clear of pests as far as she knows.

Plowmanii and other philos when more juvenile will produce the new leaf from the petiole. My Mcdowell also does this. As well as my elchoco red. When they mature to a point they will give you a cataphyll

@8:44 is definitely a mamei. The petioles are ribbed and kind of flattened. Leaves are more elongated than plowmanii

I think some of the plants from their "rescue box" were also lower value which are not worth the space they take up 😂 I got really lucky with my box, I've received huge philodendron gloriosum, anthurium forgetii and magnificum. I'm over the moon 💚🌱

I chopped all my plants that were reverted (syngonium mojito, philo burle marx variegata, peace lily variegata, adansonii variegata) and somehow the variegation came back. Not as strong as before but they show. I'm thinking of chopping them again to see if it'd encourage more striking variegation. My paraiso verde is looking great right now but if it starts losing its variegation I'd definitely chop them down too! It's worth to try for me since the main reason of us wanting these variegated plants was the variegation itself, so I'd try hard to bring it back! Also, we can propagate the cuttings if we want or simply give the cuttings away to friends or family. Good luck with the rescue, Claire ❤

florida ghost new leaves are whitish if exposed to enough light. Then it slowly changes to green eventually. From Kaylee's videos, she has mentioned that she uses professional level pesticide (where you have to clear the building) for pest control

First plant looks like a Clarinervium. It's probably a rescue because it's sun bleached or over/underwatered and therefore has a yellowing tip.

After doing a good initial inspection to get rid on any dead or rotting issues, I use one of those clear plastic tubs with a well closing lid (turn it on its side if the plant is too tall.) It’s like a large propagation box (ha ha) but without any medium on the bottom. Just pop in the plant(s) in your medium of choice. I often keep the plant in what it came in. Check on them once a week after initially making sure the medium has some moisture. Sometimes it takes a couple weeks for eggs of pests to hatch. Put in bright location. Treat pests in there if needed. Good luck!

Maybe rescue plants means she lost the labels too them so since she didn’t have names they’re “rescues “ now 😂 or she said she had to take down her living wall so maybe these are plants off her living wall 🤷🏼‍♀️
Also she has talking about using heavy duty pest control so good call on not putting predatory insects

You have probably been asked this 1000 times…. But… why if a plant is doing well in moss for example, do you then transfer it to soil? Thaaaanks.
