Lumpy’s brand is literally one of my favorite brands and no matter what new dispensary I ever go to here in Cali if I see that they have Lumpy’s brand on their shelf it’s a no brainer for me and I don’t even care or be interested in any other brand but Lumpy’s. There is a special kind of satisfaction one gets from growing a really tight strain. Only people who grow can really understand. It gives one a special appreciation for truly quality herbs. I just wish I could grow more plants and do some serious breeding.

Im talking like Ball family, fig farms, greenhouse farms etc… Super small batch cannabis. That stuff DESTROYS anything the 90’s had to offer.

15:40 that's very impressive, the way these guy's flower room looks it's kinda hard to believe they achieve results with 1 gal pots but like I stated earlier, I learned to do this from watching largr scale grows and they all get more using less, for me the only down side is constantly watering but it's worth it for sure.
Put 2 plants in a 3 gallon pot, or 3 in a 5 gallon pot and chop branches on all of them evenly to fill out the canopy and you'll get better results than 1 gallons and water less. I've switched to using 2 gallon pots instead of 1 gallons and it makes a huge difference and still takes up the same amount of space in the flower tent bc you can only put them so close together anyway. I'll still use the 1 gallon pots for tester seeds and smaller clones, but I'll probably phase them out in favor of the 2 gallons.
@@thereignofthezero225 My fire seems to be as good as anything under a hps and anybody can get plants that big in 1 gallon pots when they're clones that are put in the 1 gallon pots before flower and they won't have time to get root bound.
@@thereignofthezero225 1500 watt leds sound like they need to be far from the canopy. I wonder if that was the problem? You also have to use more calmag with certain strains, and you have to use co² with that much light too. Idk, my shit is always fire. Plenty of room for improvement, but always fire.
@@thereignofthezero225 I've heard that Dante's Inferno is fire, but the Tropicana Cherry didn't sound that fire to me even though people seem to love it. I'm going to start going back to the old school strains like Skunk #1, NL#5, Afghani hasplant, Alaskan Thunderfuck and work my way from there I think, bc weed was waaaaaaaay better in the 80s and 90s. I've grown hella strains from hella sources the last 10 years, and nothing is touching the 90s at all. Some get close, but not really. I've got a Blueberry Cupcake from HSC that's going to be some fire and I'm hoping I can breed with it an make something happen. I've got some Ice Pick by Green Wolf that's supposed to be good. Some Peanut Butter Breath by Thug Pug and Black Truffle by 808 Genetics that both seem like they'll be coo. I've got a Watermelon Zkittlez from SSV on Strainly that seems like it's going to be surprisingly fire. I was expecting more of a sweet nose, but it's more heavy on the skunk/funk which is what I always prefer anyways. I wanna grow some Dutch Treat or whatever that Christmas Tree tasting bud is too. That's one of my favorite terp profiles.

They pay near 30 per kwh, sometimes higher depending on the area of cali they are in. usually higher than average of 15. Most people are making pounds now in rec in grows like that for 200-400 a pound, depending on costs.

Curious if the company name came from Kelso in season 7 (That 70's Show) where the crew were in "The Circle" coming up with names for Hyde's record store. Kelso forgot his original idea "The Head" and instead, only "Lumpy's" came to mind.
@island, that is a good guess! I asked Jason and Josh where the name came from. It turns out it was a nickname given to Jason from back in the day. The flower he was growing was so thick and dank they said it looked like it had lumps on it. So Jason adopted the name Lumpy. I remember going to Amsterdam and being amazed that they were experimenting and produced this new thing Dutchskunk...Now look how the US has taken the ball and every strain ive seen them produce? I love knowing they're used HID considering I have a switchable MH/HPS and someone criticized me for not running LED lights. I'm like "HID lights still put off great light...wtf do you mean?"
I'm so small scale it's ridiculous but I'm also so high quality it's respectable, I learn a lot from watching these videos like how to maximize yields, most with a smaller set up like me in a 2x4 would be doing super quick vegging and flipping to flower but I've learned to extend veg as well as keep plants in relatively smaller pots lifting my lights and allowing the plant to grow into the light, I get pretty decent sized cholas from this, last run the gmo x animal cookies and got a 2 foot chola actually 2 foot 4 inches with 5 nice satellite nugs.

Pro Tip: was confusing he said it's better not to cut the leaves when cloning then shows them cutting all the leaves lol. Iv'e always clipped the leaves when propogating and have a constant 95%-100% success.

Lumpy’s brand is literally one of my favorite brands and no matter what new dispensary I ever go to here in Cali if I see that they have Lumpy’s brand on their shelf it’s a no brainer for me and I don’t even care or be interested in any other brand but Lumpy’s. Not even Alien Lab’s or Jungle Boy’s have as good as pheno’s as Lumpy’s brand does. Hand’s down.

Apple frit was the first strain I ever grew from seed, my old man taught me how back when I was a kid in CO before he passed(It was a lucky Apple fritter bagseed). Now I'm the youngest crop care specialist at my farm in washinhton state. Really cool too see this, felt connected haha

How’d you grow real Apple fritter when you can only get it from a cut? Pretty sure he said he created this strain after 2010 so you must be one young grower.
@@Buddystemz I'm 21, youngest crop care specialist at my farm, youngest employee in general lol. My dad taught me to grow when I was a kid in CO, they got a brand there called snaxland,(back 2018-2019) that had apple frit and really good wedding cake. Got lucky and caught my fritter seed outta a zip of snaxland

Cannabis is legit cultivated to achieve peak levels of impact now on a craft level. Not the bs corpo stuff like 710labs or cookies or JungleBoys. Im talking like Ball family, fig farms, greenhouse farms etc… Super small batch cannabis. That stuff DESTROYS anything the 90’s had to offer.

You don’t need big pots when you are pumping them full of synthetic fertilizers.

15:40 that's very impressive, the way these guy's flower room looks it's kinda hard to believe they achieve results with 1 gal pots but like I stated earlier, I learned to do this from watching largr scale grows and they all get more using less, for me the only down side is constantly watering but it's worth it for sure.
Put 2 plants in a 3 gallon pot, or 3 in a 5 gallon pot and chop branches on all of them evenly to fill out the canopy and you'll get better results than 1 gallons and water less. I've switched to using 2 gallon pots instead of 1 gallons and it makes a huge difference and still takes up the same amount of space in the flower tent bc you can only put them so close together anyway. I'll still use the 1 gallon pots for tester seeds and smaller clones, but I'll probably phase them out in favor of the 2 gallons.
Debatable. These guys are using leds so they can't be trusted haha
@@thereignofthezero225 My fire seems to be as good as anything under a hps and anybody can get plants that big in 1 gallon pots when they're clones that are put in the 1 gallon pots before flower and they won't have time to get root bound.
@@thereignofthezero225 1500 watt leds sound like they need to be far from the canopy. I wonder if that was the problem? You also have to use more calmag with certain strains, and you have to use co² with that much light too. Idk, my shit is always fire. Plenty of room for improvement, but always fire.
@@thereignofthezero225 I've heard that Dante's Inferno is fire, but the Tropicana Cherry didn't sound that fire to me even though people seem to love it. I'm going to start going back to the old school strains like Skunk #1, NL#5, Afghani hasplant, Alaskan Thunderfuck and work my way from there I think, bc weed was waaaaaaaay better in the 80s and 90s. I've grown hella strains from hella sources the last 10 years, and nothing is touching the 90s at all. Some get close, but not really. I've got a Blueberry Cupcake from HSC that's going to be some fire and I'm hoping I can breed with it an make something happen. I've got some Ice Pick by Green Wolf that's supposed to be good. Some Peanut Butter Breath by Thug Pug and Black Truffle by 808 Genetics that both seem like they'll be coo. I've got a Watermelon Zkittlez from SSV on Strainly that seems like it's going to be surprisingly fire. I was expecting more of a sweet nose, but it's more heavy on the skunk/funk which is what I always prefer anyways. I wanna grow some Dutch Treat or whatever that Christmas Tree tasting bud is too. That's one of my favorite terp profiles.

I have moyamoya and stroked out in 2010. I was a software engineer and now looking to re-invent myself. I have a medical card in my state but was looking to do something larger. They pay near 30 per kwh, sometimes higher depending on the area of cali they are in. usually higher than average of 15.
Most people are making pounds now in rec in grows like that for 200-400 a pound, depending on costs.
North Carolina is the lowest pretty much for east coast, and Idaho is cheapest PNW area (really anywhere, idaho is cheapest)

Jason I agree man thc isn’t everything like this generation thinks I’m also a taste guy there so much more to cannabis then thc and anymore everyone is pushing for high thc percentages and forgetting about all the other cannaboids that gives it the taste smell and high. You guys are really killing it and I hope one day I can be on your level but I’m my state it’s nothing but ties and suits taking over the industry they could care less about anything but dollars they have zero passion for the plant itself and it shows. Curious if the company name came from Kelso in season 7 (That 70's Show) where the crew were in "The Circle" coming up with names for Hyde's record store. Kelso forgot his original idea "The Head" and instead, only "Lumpy's" came to mind.
@island, that is a good guess! I asked Jason and Josh where the name came from. It turns out it was a nickname given to Jason from back in the day. The flower he was growing was so thick and dank they said it looked like it had lumps on it. So Jason adopted the name Lumpy. I'm so small scale it's ridiculous but I'm also so high quality it's respectable, I learn a lot from watching these videos like how to maximize yields, most with a smaller set up like me in a 2x4 would be doing super quick vegging and flipping to flower but I've learned to extend veg as well as keep plants in relatively smaller pots lifting my lights and allowing the plant to grow into the light, I get pretty decent sized cholas from this, last run the gmo x animal cookies and got a 2 foot chola actually 2 foot 4 inches with 5 nice satellite nugs.
That gmo x animal cookies sounds tasty🔥🔥🔥

Pro Tip: was confusing he said it's better not to cut the leaves when cloning then shows them cutting all the leaves lol. Iv'e always clipped the leaves when propogating and have a constant 95%-100% success.
Looks like he did not clip all the leaves, he said clip them less. from what i see they clip lower leaves but keep top leaves intact
