    love that place!!!
    Funny story, one day when we were sitting at the bar there I noticed a puffer fish wash up on the shore, all puffed up and breathing (sorta). I walked down to the beach, carefully picked up the prickly little fella and threw him back in the ocean...just to watch him wash ashore again! I picked him up, walked out to about my knees , threw him as far as i could (they really are as prickly as they look when puffed!) and again the little sucker washed ashore! One more time but this time chest deep into the ocean I go..... just to watch him wash ashore again!
    Then someone told me they puff up and wash ashore at the end of their life.....
    🤣

      That’s too funny! However we saw multiple people doing the same. 💜 and why there are so many on Tecolote I will never understand!

    I’m really enjoying your videos.
    IF you’re still in the area, check out Playa el Tesoro for a very quaint beach terrific for snorkeling. There is also a small restaurant there.
    Have fun!

    Hi guys! We discovered your channel through your second Baja trip and decided to watch your first trip when we were all caught up. Super great footage with lots of wonderful drone shots. We hope to follow your footsteps soon. Just curious where you dump your grey water when boondocking for 3 weeks?

      Thanks so much for watching!! Glad you liked the drone shots ;) and how exciting for you guys! Essentially we use all biodegradable soaps/shampoos/etc. and water the desert plants with a few small buckets from time to time 😉

    Hello Megan and James, I’m Rick from Montana. We have been watching your adventures on RUclips with great interest. Especially your Baja videos. My partner and I are getting ready to retire to Baja just 20 minutes north of La Paz. We had a home built there and will be relocating no late than June of 2023.
    I have a few questions. We plan on entering Baja at the Mexicali entrance.and travel down the east side till we get to El Centenario. Where our new home awaits.
    I was wanting to know how many miles a day did you usually travel when you headed towards La Paz. We too have a pet, 13 year old Lab her name is Sagie Mae. Our lives revolve around her health and happiness. So you two sure take care of your furry children.
    Also I see you have a ram mount for your navigation, I would like to know the name if possible, also the name of your tires you use and the drone. You guys are very organized and fun to watch.
    Thank you for your time.
    Rick, Kelly, and Sagie Mae from Stevensville Montana

      That’s sounds great, congratulations on your new home! We too would like to retire near La Paz.
      We never really consider the mileage but rather the time it takes to travel with our trailer (GPS eta + 30mins to 1hr). At the most we travel about 6hrs per travel day. Our Old dog Riley is 16 so we understand adjusting to our pet’s needs:)
      We do have a Ram mount but I’m not sure the exact one:/ it has the adhesive bottom and the arm is approx. 3”. We mainly use it for our rear-camera on the trailer. We are currently running General Grabbers ATX3s. The drone is a DJI mini 2, which is a great drone for the price👍🏽
      Hope this helps! And thanks for watching!

    Do you recommend traveling with someone and not alone into Baja, I will be traveling from South Texas on my Colorado Truck not afraid of traveling alone in the states but my first this far into Mexico. The video you made were during day time, did you make night stop to sleep on the road. About the Mexican gas pumps do they have unleaded in Baja some places in Mexico still use the lead type. Gracias

    • @weekdayadventures
      @weekdayadventures  Год назад +1

      Hey! I think it’s a good idea to travel with someone but we’ve seen people traveling on their own. We always drive during the day and avoid driving at night. Mainly because of road conditions and animals on the road at night making it dangerous. As far as the gas they have unleaded pretty much everywhere in Baja! We should have a Baja blast questions video coming out soon. Best of luck to you, safe travels!

      Late September into October dates are still sketchy. I have a birthday October 15, It would be great to celebrate camping near the sea of Cortez. I'm still studying Baja the roads, motels, where to crash if it starts to get dark. stuff like. I welcome your recommendations. Gracias Jess@@weekdayadventures

    I'm new to trailer camping but just got a A-Liner pop up trailer. How do you level your trailer? Can you use the 4 corner stabilizers to level it out?

    • @weekdayadventures
      @weekdayadventures  Год назад

      On most small trailers they are only designed to stabilize the camper and not to level it out. We will use leveling blocks under the tires to make it as level as possible before lowering the stabilizers. How this helps!
