I've always heard about European resistance to Nazi occupation, but never in my life have I heard a story about Chinese resistance to Japanese occupation. Hype to check this game out and hopefully learn a lil history too.
There's a interesting thing happened in that time. A german nazi name John Rabe, He protect and saved many chinese in nanjing or nanking in his safe district. Because japanese and german were ally, japanese soldier can't really do anything to chinese civilian in that area. there's still a statue in china.
this is nice but what we really need is a warlord ear china game
I love the minimal UI look
sick, cant wait. theres so many theatres of ww2 not really explored in games
Anyone here seen a Chinese WW2 Drama "The Disguiser" ? This looks almost inspired by it, I would bet the story is set in Shanghai too.
finally a ww2 game set in a new scenery. Idk yet if i’ll buy it, but i’ll for sure watch a let’s play if i won’t. Graphics do not look next-gen but honestly i don’t really care, as long as the game is well made
This better be real. A FPS set in the Chinese theater of WW2 is rarely talked about in the West.
Yes!!!! Finally!! Plus you can technically have every gun used in the war and it would be historically accurate cause almost everyone was selling to China
making a game where its either banned in Japan, China, or depending how it shows the communists, both, thats pretty brave
Looks great! Hopefully they toss in Unit 731 as well…
I don't think they will tho, it might be to get censored.
I am up for this
More WW2 themed games should put other countries in it
This is what i am look for ww2 games, China side of the war is lack as hell.
The Japanese might be very afraid of such a game. But it has finally arrived
The game we didn't even know we wanted, but the game we need
Careful about the portrayal of the actions of occupying Imperial forces, Modern Japan might deny it.
it’s literally chinese propaganda but enjoy your slop anyway 😂
Finally, something other than Normandy! 🔥💯
This looks amazing!!
i love it when ww2 games explore other fronts and time rather than the overdone western front
Math teachers vs. War criminals: the game
Dear Hoothanes: PLEASE allow us to remove hitmarkers in the settings - the game looks so good that I'd hate for multiplayer-style hitmarkers to detract from the overall immersion
It feels like it has some enlisted feeling to it
nice idea for WWII game from a different perspective! BREATH OF FAKING FRESH AIR
The Second Sino-Japanese war doesn't get as much attention when compared to the American Pacific theatre or European theatre. We really should be getting some interesting games that take place during this setting.
Finally they made a WII game that is not in Europe. It’s so crazy it takes this long. WII in Asia was way more crazier battle than Europe.
YEA!! Let's change WW2 games up a bit!
ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!
Finally a different theater in WW2 about damn time
Looks flawless! Can't wait!!
It's good their focusing on something different in ww2
Finally a game set during the 2nd Sino Japanese war. Good to see the Chinese stepping up in the games industry
Losers that can't even beat Ukraine🤣
OMG That bgm at the end give me goose bumps!Just like Black Myth Wukong.
I like the idea of the story set in Asia rather than fighting in the Pacific theater I always remember that one day they'll make a game about it as I watch movies that set in the second Sino Japanese war
Honestly, I don't care if this plays like Call of Duty (with the scripted sequences, regen health, etc.) I JUST WANT A WWII GAME THAT IS NOT SET IN EUROPE OR THE PACIFIC FOR ONCE.
ik its just a short teaser, but i hope there are more major field battles represented here, instead of the urban spy type stuff!
New Theater and Perspective HELL YEAH
HOLY DAMN, THE OUTRO TUNE IS THE THEME OF THE "RAILROAD TIGERS SONG"
a bouta bunch of Chinese Guerrillas holding up Japanese Imperialist trains like some kind of badass cowboys.
There was a 60s or Black and white one, and the 2010s Jackie Chan remake of one.
MAN, the Chinese games are cooking with the nostalgia, just like Wukong.
whatever helps them cope I guess 😂 your the first person ive ever heard refer to a chinese as ‘badass’ 🤣
Go away and play your genshit
Man what is your problem? I am just here feeling nostalgic about some classical movies and Folk heroes over a obscure folk song.
Why you be such a downer man?
Why you mad?
There are badasses in every nation, you just too narrow minded to learn about any. The Railroad tigers are real heroes who risked their lives hijacking armoured trains guarded by heavily armed invaders.
Wow, I've been saying we needed games of other conflict zones and belligerents of WWII for a long ass time. Now then someone get to the British and Commonwealth in SE Asia. You could have a game about Australian I Corps after their relocation to the Pacific in '42
god ive been wantkng a game like this for ages. After watching chinese shows like " 800 " and "death and glplry in changde". Ive always wanted a game based on the china front.
this actually looks really good!
Finally something with a different topic 😮
About time a ww2 game base on sino-japanese war
Is it in Shanghai?
This looks so cool, like exactly what I've been hoping for in a historical FPS game. My concern is that since it's being developed in China, is there a chance of political interference regarding the KMT and CCP's respective roles during the war?
In Taiwan, maybe. The current government there is so insistent on independence, they tried to censor anything considered making mainland China look good or reminding them that they are also Chinese. Andy Lau, a big HK star, sang in Taiwan and the DPP government tried to censure him because the song reminds HK people are also Chinese (the song celebrates the reunification of HK after over a century as a British colony).
Looks sick, but we'll see how it'll turns out
