I miss Relient K...their music encouraged me in Christ's love and forgiveness, many times in my struggles. I cant say that about many rock bands, but they definitely did and thats why ive liked them so much.
Is it sad that I've gone to Creation Fest. for so long I could tell from the first second where this was shot? Or worst, that I'm upset I was there in 2009 and I didn't see them being interviewed!!!!
i almost find it depressing you know. like the best thing they used as the opening was about his engagement and such and then it goes into his break-up album
Thiessen is taller than everyone, and he's standing in a way that makes him about 3 inches shorter than he is. And then Schneck is standing almost straight up and is only at Matt's shoulder XD
Natrone011 I can say honestly from having seen Thiessen in person a LOT that he TOWERS over everyone. I’m not short by any means, but I’m only about eye-level with his chest
@jizzneck I wish I was a fan of Relient K back then because they are awesome!!! I started to become a fan when I was 16 and I've been a fan since then and I'm not 20. I've only seen Relient K just once and that was at Creation 2009.
@Kreason95 That is really AWESOME!!!! I met Relient K at Creation'09 and they seem like very nice people, so I'm sure that your uncle enjoyed their company. So, does your uncle still have contact with the band members?
Seems like Matt has somewhat sold out. Does he really care what the world thinks? Pretty sure he said he did. Based on this interview, my opinion has changed. What happened to the guy I met touring with Ace troubleshooter and FiF? The word Sellout keeps ringing in my ears. Saddened.
I think it was a misunderstanding. Sounds to me like he meant he not only accepts but respects the opinions of everyone, and how their music impacts them. As in the reason behind their music is for the building up or encouragement of other people, not of pride or anything for themselves. It's just what they love doing with a passion, and impacting people's lives in a positive way is the motivation behind what they do. Showing Christ in all situations. Sharing the gospel, and using words when necessary. Just my thoughts, though

I love Relient K. I remember when they were the "new thing" in Christian music. I was 16 in '97. I feel old around here!
i cant believe they been together for 12 years. and i cant believe Matt is still the only single one and that he is about 32

I love how chill they are about everything
yeah I know! Their music keeps evolving and gets even better!
This is a good video. It is amazing how they are still a band after 12 years WOW! That is a long time. in 1997 I was about 8 years old I think.

It's so cool that their record was mixed by the guy that did Slayers Reign in Blood. And that Ethan clearly knows his heavy metal haha

Sure... it's all About thing that happens... i'd rather forget and not slow down than gather regret for the things i can't change now
this video blew my fucking head off.
Even though Matty T looks older now with his hair cut, he didn't look too bad here!
@rikku9zashi: Matt never uses a pick. He's always used his thumb.
i was just born in 1997 ...lol
