Thank u , very much needed! I am the only Latina barber in a all black barbershop, and i’m learning more and more each day how to cut kinky curly hair. Ty ✊🏽 💈
No problem sis! Check out my last video if you haven't already! His hair is even more kinky and curly then this! You have any questions let me know. Thanks for watching.
@@Christopher_Minnieweather thank u! 😊✊🏽
I have only cut straight hair so this right here is awsome to have a descriptive video on curly hair. I have been asked so much if I can cut curly hair and this gives me a better understanding on how to start and clean it up.
A wife trying to learn to cut my husband hair . I also have a son I will need to cut soon
By far the best fade video tutorial I have seen on RUclips ! The attention to detail is unmatched. All done without any dye or weird spray. I've been thinking about trying to do my own drop fades, this video will be my muse. Fantastic work.
Thank you fam for watching and I appreciate your feedback!
Love this tutorial!!! I'm learning so much thank you!!
Keep dropping these informative hair cut gems 💪

Hi...new sub here!i been a cosmetologist since 2010.i been at a franchise salon for men for 5 and a half years.we dont get many people with textured hair coming in for cuts and when one comes in, its embarrassing that I have no idea what to do. Thank you for the video, lot of jargon that wasn't explained though. But looks good!
I'm glad I found you my confidence level has now gone up I was not comfortably tackling this type of hair but now I see you make it so simple thank you.
Thank you for this feedback gonzo this is exactly why I made my channel to give confidence to barbers in every aspect of the industry. Thanks for watching and more to come!

No problem thank you.
Great video bro! Very informative 💪🔥🔥🔥
Awesome technique! I always had trouble with the bulk build up after the fade, but this make great sense to use the 2 guard first to make a smoother transition👍
Yessir bro thanks for watching.
YESSS You’re back🙌🏽
I’ve been waiting, I’m glad to know you’re well and back on your grind💪🏽
Yessir. Thanks for the patience
This helped me out a lot and explains what I was doing wrong . Thank you so much
You got some crazy skills and did a great job explaining the fade haircut in a way others don't.
Thank you I really appreciate your feedback and watching my content my friend
This de-bulking part of the video really helped me because I was looking like Gumby in the back of my head. Your fade portion was excellent also. I made my into more a diamond 💎 shape in the back. Both look great brother. Thanks.
Glad u could help fam!
This channel is a gem! You are certainly adding to my technique and it’s such a perfect fit for where I am at this stage of my barbering career (wanting to develop some more) I appreciate all you do, sir!

@@Christopher_Minnieweather 💪🏻💈
My son is neurodivergent and very resistant to getting haircuts. Plus, my husband’s hair is bone straight and the places he go aren’t great with very curly hair. So I’m trying to learn lol. Thanks for the tips!
Great learning video. Thank you
He looks amazing after the fade and clean up! I’m impressed with your work. It definitely blended beautifully.

That cut fire bro 🔥
I still struggle with this type of hair for some reason no matter how hard I try I end up with a lot of dark spots on the fade that I’m never able to take out but since I started watching your videos I’ve learned that de bulking and prepping the hair before fading is essential for a better result. Thank you for your video 😊 God bless you and your talent
Alex this is exactly why I make these videos for viewers like you looking to grow. Glad I can help you my guy💯🙌🏾💪🏾

Thank you so much! I'm a mom of two boy's and I've been trying to learn how to cut hair.. I don't really have time to go out and take classes but can do all that from here!
Glad I can help sis!
This is BRILLIANT! I've been a Barber/Cos for a little over 30 years and I agree (learning a LOT) from your vids. I've been learning what you suggest in this vid by instinct(the Holy Ghost giving MUCH answered prayer). Some of what I thought was right to do, you showed was doable and necessary; knowing the theory of it helped put this and the practical together better. Thank you, Mr. Minnieweather! A subbie now.
Wow Rhonda I appreciate this comment I'm thankful that the Holy spirit not only helped you along the way but also led you to my channel. It's a blessing to hear how much I've helped you! Thank you and if you have any questions let me know. Thanks for the support as well

Great vid bro! Just subscribed and wish I seen this a day ago. I just had this same exact cut yesterday. Same hair type and beard. I did okay but would have went in more confident if I would’ve seen this. I’m tuned in now.
Thanks Dre thats what this channel is for! I'm excited to hear how it goes next time. Let me know! I appreciate the support and feedback

So thankful to hear that. If you took picks tag me on Instagram. What helped you the most?
My barber is great, but these days a cut is about $40 beans, and see how I have dreads with a low fade on the sides and back I’m looking into cutting my own hair. This video has been a tremendous learning experience.
Glad I could help you out my guy!

@@Christopher_Minnieweather For sure bro, I will, I record almost every haircut I do so no doubt bro!
Love the knowledge and pro tips! Just recently subscribed. How long would you say it takes for a quality haircut like this? I've been trying to get a consistent system like you said and to bring down my cut time.
Thanks a bunch Alex. I schedule cuts like this and beard for 45 minutes. That's 30 for the cut 15 for beard. That's enough time for me to knock both out. Sometimes I may do 35 on the cut and 10 on his beard. Glad I can help. Let me know if you have other questions
This took my sons cut to another level thank you so much!
No problem. I'm glad to hear that
Bro I really love this one 💕 please could show in depth the racking method ?
Thank you so much. Working on one right now that talks about raking as well. Especially on the type of hair I'll be showing. It's what some would consider bad hair lol
My guy you nailed that cut 💯
Thanks fam I appreciate you!
Perhaps you should had even the chin line connected into his beard line everything looks awesome! 🦁👑
I needed this video i keep messing up my hair because I just started to self cut. I can't manage to get it right 😭
Here learning because I want to learn a new skill! Self-employed entrepreneur here! New subscriber!

This is an amazing video man!! 💈👍🏾🔪🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much for watching Fades_g The barber I really appreciate It 🙌🏾
Thank you so much! I’m going to Cos school. They just don’t have any courses designed to teach these fades, let alone on very curly hair.
Any questions let me know!
That is one of the differences between barbers and cosmetologist. I have experience in cosmetology and I took a long break. I'm about to study for boards and reinstate my license.
Barbers amaze me with cutting techniques. I would like to get a dual license sometime in the future. There is so much in men's hair that most people just don't know. Of course us women folk like our hairdo's too.
I would love to learn the basics about African American hair. It's just not taught in depth at most cosmetology schools. It's also hard for white hair stylist to learn due to resources.
I have a genuine interest in learning all hair textures. I may not be an expert but I do want to provide a basic cut and service. I hate the idea of turning clients away. I'd probably refer something complicated to another stylist but just knowing and expanding skills is a good thing .
@@Christopher_Minnieweather Thank you!! I will definitely have questions in the future!
@@barbaramatthews4735 hey Barbara thank you for watching as well as the feedback. I'm here as a resource for you if you ever have any questions. Let me know how I can help! Glad to hear your getting back to it sis!

Do you ever do scissors over comb? The reason I’m asking is because I cut hair at a nursing home and some folks don’t like the clippers. But this has been so informative! I never really learned how to cut 4c curls, and I just want my clients to look and feel amazing when they leave my chair
Most African Americans will never have scissor over comb done to their hair. I guess if it's an afro you could but that takes so long so I don't do it. But if you are referring to straight hair customers I have videos teaching how to use scissors over comb.
It looked a bit shaky early in the cut but that natural lineup and long blend area really suited the clients head and hair style. Great vid.
Its all apart of the process! Have to trust it and it will come out in the end! Thanks for watching Tee
@@Christopher_Minnieweather it def came out super crispy. The process was executed perfectly.
Good looks another Barber RUclipsr I added on my watch

Nice cut. I just subscribed.
Your videos are trying to show us that cutting someone's hair is so easy😂.....am equipped....thank you😊😄😄😄😄
It's easy when you have a system feel free to try mine!
Thanks Bro appreciate the look out with all the tips. Well done I feel like sending you a pic of my hair cuts have you give your opinion, and tips then a tutorial of you down let me know.
Thank you so much! My cousin has been asking me to cut his hair but they barely teach anything about black hair where I went to school 🤦♀️ mind if I ask what trimmers you use?
No problem sis thank you for watching . One thing to notice when watching my videos I put the tools, guards and any cutting systems on the screen during the tutorials. These trimmers are the Babyuliss Red fx trimmers. Thank you again
This was nice to watch. When you have it, you have it. I tried this on my brother last year. My grandma saw him and cried and asked me what I did to him.😣🤦🏽♀️🙄 PS: I'm a school teacher, not a barber. Just trying to help a brother out... lol But, I tried. 🤷🏽♀️ I can only do the very basic cut, but I'm fascinated with this.
Not sure how I missed this comment😂 it takes practice then more practice but it clicks after awhile. Thanks for watching sis
What’s up brother I would love to see a video of an “all factory settings” cut. Compared to your usual Zero gapped to really see the difference between the two. Who know, maybe you can make a factory settings challenge.
The zero and the factory don't cut that much different. Its only to take out lines I put in with the trimmers but the lengths aren't really that far off. Maybe for the trimmers nut not so much the clippers. Thank you for the feedback and for watching
It is a great cut. Please how important are good or bad clippers to a great haircut like this?
Awesome job bro
Thanks!
Thank you!!
You're welcome! Thank you for watching
can you make a video on how to do a faded mohawk? i’m in cosmetology school and that it how my bf likes his hair cut and i can never get it right. thank you!
Will do sis stay tuned.
