Police in New Jersey are asking for the public's help identifying a woman after she was caught on video illegally climbing into a tiger enclosure at a zoo.
Guess she's not old enough to remember when three males decided to mess with a tiger and the tiger got mad and jumped out of his enclosure and killed all three. They are still wild and don't care to be messed with.

We have a zoo in our small city that has been here for several generations. There was a time when visitors often went beyond barriers to get closer to dangerous animals. The solution was to redesign the enclosures so that could not happen any more. You have to make it idiot proof. The animals seem happier to have their space that is free from intrusion. My favorite part of our zoo are the free roaming peacocks. Really great zoo now.

Something similar happened a few years back. A maintenance worker stuck his arm in the tiger cage. The tiger bit him and wouldn't let go. The 911 call he made is hilarious. This idiot is screaming and crying the whole time. Tigers aren't your friend.
Cats have reflexes so fast that they can jump out of the way of a snake after it begins a strike. So it could grab your hand before you can pull it away. Duh!
Maybe she forgot or didn't hear about those boys who were taunting a tiger here in the US and it got so mad it got out of the enclosure and killed at least one of the boys.
Actually that gorgeous tiger was very tolerant of her and her presence was definitely making him scared... nervous? She's extremely fortunate that he didn't go into self protection mode. He looks very healthy thankfully but it's hard to imagine that he enjoys being confined.

I'm glad she climbed over the fence because prior to this incident, I haven't heard of this zoo. And it's just 1.5 hours away. I'll check it out and will probably climb over too to get some news coverage.
