Just wanted to add to everyone’s comments that this particular video was from a fundraiser concert done for the people of PR after hurricane Maria wreaked havoc on the island, his emotions in this absolutely matched the emotion of so many of us in the US that saw what the people were going through while, desperately trying to reach out to our loved ones still there. Thanks for covering great singers all over the world, I ❤️ your channel!!!
Side note: There's a part in this video where he yells out Puñeta! really loud, it's a curse word in Spanish but one that's used more commonly by us Puerto Ricans to show the highest level of emotion about a subject. He really immerses himself into his music but no other song brings out the most emotion from him as this one. A true gem of a human within our culture who loves his heritage and isn't afraid to show it.

Since I haven't seen a comment yet saying this. The first time this version was sung was for the Banco Popular's TV Christmas Special, I think in 1998, in honor of composer Rafael Hernández. It was an immediate hit on the island and, honestly, Marc Anthony couldn't have been more popular and liked. What I would call the soneo at the end of the song was added for the Christmas special. That is why you hear him naming Rafael, the composer of this song and so many other Puerto Rican classics, and him calling out his roots since he is a Nuyorican.

Preciosa by Maestro Rafael Hernández (October 24, 1892, December 11, 1965), is considered by many to be the greatest composer of Puerto Rican music
Facts he wrote the national anthem for sto.domingo as well and it was put later on as their second national anthem and rafael Hernandez also wrote the national anthem for chihuahua mexico and he left hundreds amount of songs in cuba and México together with Bobby capo and pedro flores you know how we Ricans do mi cónsul si es Goya tiene que ser bueno❤
