@@caitobrown5236 It's not something else, it's the melody from that song which had to be downgraded to 16 bit because the GBA doesn't have enough storage space to put the real song in there because they wouldn't be able to put everything else in the game.
@@FMecha Thank you, I edited my comment above you to make it say 16 bit instead of 32 like I said in the original comment. Yes you're right, The Rock's titantron in this game is based on his movie reel style one that he used from late 2000 to early 2001, it was right before he left the WWF for 3 months and then came back with a new theme song and a new titantron. That was also when The Rock ditched his flat top fade with the sideburns that he had since the late 90s, and the last time he wore one of his $500 Versace dress shirts.
I'm sure if the GBA had enough storage capacity, it could fit entire wrestlers' themes in there, because that little sample from The Rock's theme sounded really high quality, especially being on a 16-bit system.
I love the quality of the entrances...! More so when they costum make their own entrance videos, it goes to show personal care was taken. Also, the sound clips are VERY good for a GBA! That Rock sound clip was PERFECT!
Yeah even without lyrics, it's got that _BEWP BEWP_ sound that BOTH of Billy Gunn's singles' themes ("Ass Man" & "I've Got It All", both produced by Jim Johnston & sung by Eric Valentine) are known for. Considering that the majority of GBA game music is usually done via synthesizer (think Mark Mothersbaraugh doing _Rugrats_ music, for an example), it sounds even MORE like it should start a family sitcom series rather than a wrestler's theme.
Yeah I'm surprised they got the sound bites of the smashing glass from Stone Cold's music, the "If you smell" intro for The Rock and the "Latino Heat" from Eddie Guerrero's theme.
The roster in this WWF gameboy game is accurate (as it was in 2001) Stone Cold's music sounds like the Disturbed theme he was using at the time, The Rock has his movie reel titantron (but with his 1999 - 01 theme), Triple H has The Game as his music (but with the My Time titantron) etc
They could clearly only fit a handful of voice samples, and I think everyone can agree that making sure to get the X-Factor one in there was the best possible use of cartridge space.
@Sterling20073 Fire Pro Wrestling uses a timing-based grappling system, which means you gotta press a button at the right time. To do this, press a button THE VERY SECOND both wrestlers come close and lock-up during grapple animation. Best way to practice this is by playing it on an easy COM level, like 1 or 2.
Raven's theme is like a haunted location in Pokémon. I expect to encounter many a Gastly. William Regal's sounds like someone got the licence to make a Blackadder game but wasn't given the rights to use its theme so they outsourced making it to someone who has never seen the show.
Impressive to see that natsume had a good run with doing wwe games *that also includes the game boy color version of wrestlemania 2000 and gba road to wrestlemania which were the only 2 games to use the wwf logo before the change 🙂*
@@Sterling20073 thank you so much for the response, that's pretty cool 🙂😁 how would you treat the natsume wwe games as a whole? *I myself haven't played gbc wrestlemania 2000, but I do own road to wrestlemania, X8 and survivor series on gba 🙂*

Considering the GBA's limitations, they did an admirable job with the music.
IMO, Regal’s theme was the best job they did.
"The One" Billy Gunn's theme sounds SOOOOO awesome
I like how Rock's theme intro is nearly perfect, even on GBA.

Also worth noting Rock's tron in this game is based on his late 2000 one.

Christian's Blood Brother theme still sounded bad ass in this game!
Yeah
ItzMeAudrey true dat
Used to love this game because of the intros
OH!!!! Raven's theme for the win!!!
LOVE APA's theme on here. Absolutely GREAT! And Christian's one too!

2 Billy Gunn (3:00)
3 The Rock (0:32)
4 The Dudley Boyz (4:32)
5 Kurt Angle (1:31)
LOL Xpac's Uncle Kracker's theme song even in 16-bit
It actually does.
Jaren Powers what actually does? Does what?
The Uncle Kracker theme for X-PAC.
As this was my very first wrestling game as a kid, the nostalgia hits especially hard here
NO......X-Pac's theme just slid in there to win....absolutely LOVE IT!!!
I love the quality of the entrances...! More so when they costum make their own entrance videos, it goes to show personal care was taken. Also, the sound clips are VERY good for a GBA! That Rock sound clip was PERFECT!
The entrances in this game are way better than in WWE Road to WrestleMania X8 because they don't have entrance videos in that game.
Damn Rocks theme hit me deep holy shit like Evil Heel rock XD
Actually, the video used was his late 2000/2001 one, when he was still face.
This was babyface Rock from 2000 to 2001 after his previous heel run in 1999. He didn't turn heel again until 2003.
I miss it when WWE released a shit load of games every year
Nowadays they just release a shitload of wrestlers every year 💣

They TOTALLY nailed Billy Gunn's entrance.

Billy Gunn had the best themes ever IMO so damn good
So, they actually did a pretty okay job recreating tron videos with the limited resources of the Gba, but that fucking version of Uncle Kracker.
Yeah I'm surprised they got the sound bites of the smashing glass from Stone Cold's music, the "If you smell" intro for The Rock and the "Latino Heat" from Eddie Guerrero's theme.
f da haterz, that was a great theme.
Ha! What was up with Eddie's theme!?! xD
"La-TEEN-oh Heat" xD
I GOT EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED AND I'LL NEVER GET THAT BACK, YO!
FUCK I read your comment right as that song came on hahahaha.
nice timing. 7.8/10 needs more Uncle Kracker
Saving the best for last Mr. Classy himself William Regal. LOL.
Some of these titantrons are impressive for what the gba was capable of.

Jericho had his 99-00 titantron, same with Angle
jerel don't forget the Dudley Boyz having theirs 2000 titantron but there 2001-2003 theme
Undertaker has his 2000 (Badass American) tron with 2001 (Rollin') theme.
I had this game when I was 11 but I gave it away because it was hard to play.
And like half of the finishers were wrong.
Its easy for me
Wow, I hope the people who worked on this got PAID. I'm sure this was no easy task. Very impressive lol
Chris Benoit's theme sounds badass.
i had this one and fire pro wrestling and survivor series, couldnt find wrestlemania x8 back then but i played it on pc in 2008
Amazing! They had a version of "Rollin'" & HHH's water bottle.
+TRUE 0UTLAW It's Undertaker Time Rollin Time

i like stone cold theme the GBA version of Glass shatter by disturbed
Kurt Angle is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017 It's true it's DAMN true!
The Rock's sends shivers up my spine
This game was so hard to play to be honest. It wouldn't let me grab my opponents. I only won a few games because of non-stop clothelines.
Same I feel ya😂
Forreal. I just learned to play from watching a video. Im like wow thats all i had to do as a kid. Smh
Yes dude it still hard today
Damn, it wasn't hard for me at all. I won every belt with Hardcore Holly and X-Pac. The entrance songs helped to hype every match, like a lot.

1. The Rock
2. Billy Gunn
3. Eddie Guerrero

Taker’s sounds like “Click Click Boom” and he never used that song as a theme lol
It's supposed to be _Rollin_ which is the Limp Bizkit song he was using at the time when this game was made.
Dudley Boyz theme sounds great in this game😂lol
Clarence Pagtalunan I know right!
They could clearly only fit a handful of voice samples, and I think everyone can agree that making sure to get the X-Factor one in there was the best possible use of cartridge space.
The voice sample they either forgot to include or had no memory for it was on Edge's theme. At the beginning it should say, you think you know me.
