Only recently discovered this footage. I was at this gig. £25 to a tout for an £8 ticket - Bargain! Supported by Ocean Colour Scene. I note Noel didn’t have a mic then, hence no falsetto on Live Forever. Also, this was the same evening that Live Forever was being played on Top of the Pops on TV. I wonder if I set my video to record it 🤔
Nope! Andy Bell, Chris Sharrock, LG, NG, and Gem Archer is the best line up they ever had! Don't let nostalgia clog your ears. While of course their is a charm to their sound in 1994, and the early days, Gem and Andy were excellent musicians, and actually competent.

This is def the best version of slide away I've heard, Liam is actually singing where he most versions he does more of a controlled shouting, slide away is my favourite track they ever did but I always thought it was underwhelming live compared to the studio version, liams so into it here , this is oasis at their very best

In the beginning Noel didn't really sing, just an odd one. It wasn't until Liam didn't show for an MTV gig Noel stepped up and did the gig. That's when people were like didn't know he sang thinking that Liam sang all the songs.

his voice was still quite crystal clear here. a few months and it would be noticeably hoarse.
This is Oasis in its purest state. Liam's voice comes directly from God.
