I'm surprised there's not more people are watching this build, as a mechanic I love seeing people with a passion to create their own star cars. Gonna have to rebuild that carburetor if you haven't already, these things gum up every so often and the floats get stuck in the bowl, jets gum up, accelerator pump diaphragms fail etc. Love seeing you get more progress done!

hi i’ve seen many videos you’ve done on the hearse, in particular swapping the front end from a 59 onto your 62. this may seem a silly question but do you think it would also be possible to fit the 59 rear fins and tail lights to the 62 car?
@@DYFEA i hope it goes well. you’ll really have a car to be proud of then, the reason i ask is because it seems 62 cadillac hearses are often a fair bit cheaper than 59 ones, but i much prefer the big fin and pointed tail lights like the 59 so it seems a cheaper alternative

Yes it's possible! Stick around for a while and you'll see it on this car too!

But won't the wood eventually rot out?? Unless this is just temporary, like the paint job until you can afford it
Might, not sure yet! I set it up like house siding, and that sits outside all day too. Good enough for the mothership, so good enough for WRECTO :)
