Aorus FI32U 4K Monitor Review with M32U Comparison!

  • Aorus is Gigabytes more extreme gamer portion of the brand and after getting the FI32U in and looking more at the specs I had a feeling I had reviewed this monitor before. Turns out the M32U from Gigabyte I reviewed a couple months ago is almost identical with this monitor outside of a handful of specs. For this review I decided to try something a little different and wrap a review into a comparison video. Let me know what you think of the new style, if you have a fix for the audio issue I mentioned and if you have any questions in the comment section below!

    Great reviews btw!!
    I Bought the M32U this week as the MSI I had gone to get was dead out of the box and that was the last unit in stock.
    I saved $250 ($840 CDN before taxes) but feel that I gave up alot going to this monitor from the MSI.
    My unit sadly has terrible back light bloom in both top corners about 3" down from each corner.
    It's too bad bc I felt the blacks were actually really good for what this panel is.
    I watched fireworks in 4k and was actually blown away.
    I also found that the sound was superior on this compared to my other monitor (TufVG27A) when plugging speakers into the monitor.
    I really dislike the stand, the legs come out so far and I don't like their cable management, it feels sloppy when you have an otherwise clean setup.
    The HDR is ok, I agree that hdr600 is what it should have.
    I recently returned the Aorus F34U which actually costs less then M32U BC it was just too big for my current desk, but going from that with HDR1000 and insane blacks it's hard to see any real value in any 32" 4K monitor at the moment and I think that 32" 4k is one of the worst categories for value to feature ratio.
    I'm waiting till black Friday and I honestly am probably ending up with a Samsung Qn90B 43" or a 43" oled BC I just can't get over the poor value the 32" are at.
    For $250 more I can get insane 4k and all the bells and whistles as well as a remote, better contrast, colors, features for less.
    I'm going to settle back into my 27" WQHD until it seems right to buy.
    I just put almost $4k into a PC build then l feel I can't take advantage of the 4K at a reasonable amount.
    27/28" 4k doesn't even make sense to me so that's not an option.
    I'm going to change my setup around to accommodate a 43" monitor as it's a way better value.
    The Aorus 48" Oled is only $1180 before taxes so the value for a 32" quite frankly sucks at the moment

      What is best monitor under 1300-1400 USD around 32 inches screen size?
      Usage: , Ai modelling and machine learning models, mostly Entertainment and casual gaming in free time( I game rarely due to work) ....

    Hello, Great reviews!
    I am in the market for a 32" 4K monitor and its mainly for daily work and watching movies on RUclips. If i game its only CSGO and maybe 1-5 times a year.
    I was actually looking for M32U but i see a lot of people having complaints about the building quality or panels which seem to be hit or miss so that's giving me some second thoughts.
    What would your recommendation be at the moment? Would it still be the Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 S32BG750NU 32" or you have a better alternative in in those price ranges in mind?
    Greatly appreciate it

    • @1UpNerdcore
      @1UpNerdcore  Год назад

      I would take the Neo G7 over this if I didn’t have a budget. Either are overkill for daily PC use with some movies and only gaming a couple times a year. I would go with a high end TV potentially at that point but that also depends on sitting distance. The new wave of OLED panels looks awesome also.

    • @mathiasweinreich1100
      @mathiasweinreich1100 Год назад

      @@1UpNerdcore Awesome, i really appreciate your reply. I am pretty limited in size and don't really wanna go higher than 32" because i have a secret lab desk which force me to sit relatively close to the monitor when its on an arm. Im coming from a 24" older monitor so its already gonna be a huge step up hehe. I did consider the 34" samsung OLED 4k monitor because of the amazing blacks but i think i would feel more comfortable with the actual 4k format at the 32". And then the non matte screen on the 34" scares me a bit as i absolutely hate when there is reflections in the screen hehe.
